Yandere Hybrid Minseok

Foreword

A/N:  This should be up by Valentine's Day

I’ll tell you something.  I am a wolf, but I like to wear sheep’s clothing…

Contentedly swinging your bags full of goodies from the village’s annual Fall Festival, you sang to the music blasting through your earbuds as you walked down the street.  The sun was just starting to set in the clear blue sky, and the crisp October air brightened your cheeks, nipping at the tip of your nose and making you smile.  Mind filled with pleasant nonsense, you passed the derelict wood and stone hanok that lay incongruously nestled on the outskirts of your district, as idle thoughts of dalgona waltzed through your imagination

Just past the property you paused, thinking for a moment, before slowly reversing, and staring up at the imposing, aesthetically decayed building, still singing softly all the while.  It had always caught your curiousity, but you had only ever seen  it in passing while traveling to and fro with your mother.  But now…  Now…  This was the first time that you had ever been in a position to...well… explore...

Not completely ignorant, you had some vague awareness of the home’s history.  It wasn’t that old, not really, not in the grand scheme of things--having been constructed sometime just prior to the Japanese occupation.  To your knowledge (which really just came from village gossip), it had last been owned by a reclusive old bachelor--a lawyer--who had left it to the City in the hopes that it would be preserved and documented on the historic property register as one of the rare two-story hanoks in the country.

After that, who knows--all you knew is that apparently the property had been left to ruin, and the hedges that had been halfway up the house when you were in middle school were now well over the top.  You had always wanted to explore romantic, abandoned places, yet had never had the opportunity but now, as you stood there, staring up at the looming building, a slow grin spread across your face as you thought, Why not?

Of course it was trespassing, which is why you diligently looked both ways before casually slipping into the overgrown entrance in the hedges...
