I'm sorry I always do this but I give lots of love to those who's stuck with me with these past few years and to those who are new to my stories! Sincerely you guys are the best and I can't even believe its been about 6 years since I started this account (my god right. I was a baby like 13). But again, please sub, upvote and comment! "Are you gonna stand there or are you gonna help me?" I grit my teeth and roughly pull my suitcase towards the trunk of the car, the wheels of the luggage leaving two deep lines into the dirt. 

Baekhyun shrugs and strides over to me, taking the handle and easily lifts the heavy load into the back very graciously as if it was an empty cardboard box. I gape at his strength and mentally facepalm myself for not using my magic to save me some embarrassment. 

It's been about two days since Taehyung had visited and within that time I realized that with Baekhyun here, it was no longer just about me. There was another person who was stuck in a relationship with a stranger. His other possible love stories crushed by the presence of me and if I was in his position, I'd hate Taehyung too.

"You're awfully quiet today," I note "It's not like you." My voice small and quiet but Baekhyun just gives me another shrug, closing the trunk and gets into the car without me. I frown but it's not in my nature to pry so I walk back to the small cabin and chant a small spell of protection before we take our leave. 

He patiently waits in the car until I am done and once I sit down, he puts the car into gear and slowly takes off back towards the pack house. The ride is silent as countless trees stare at our moving vehicle

"Do you want to stop in town?" Baekhyun asks softly and I tilt my head in contemplation "I don't really need anything in particular but if you need to then we can" I tell him and he nods, taking the next turn towards the small town of 'Waverly', it was a mid-sized town just on the outskirts of the deep woods and the people there are quite nice from what I've experienced

Once we reach the said place, Baekhyun smoothly parks the car in front of a quaint shop that reads 'Poison For You'. When we walk in, the smell of incense and garlic hits me square in the face and I almost gag if not for Baekhyun who secures his hand around mine "Stay close to me" His voice low and stern so I shuffle closer to him and pinch my nose with my sleeve "This place reeks Baekhyun" I tell him with my nose still plugged

"I know, just bear through it for a bit" He squeezes my hand assuringly as we make our way through the shop that is relatively bigger than what it appeared to be. The shop had random ancient looking artifacts lined up messily on the dark hardwood shelves and many different dream catchers along with strings of garlic were strung up across the whole shop, very repulsive if you ask me. While I'm busy judging the decor, Baekhyun drags me to the front counter where suddenly a small domovoi pops up from behind the counter and makes his way up onto the top. 

"Business?" He asks Baekhyun with a strong voice that I am taken aback by. I have only heard stories of the domovoi before but never actually seen one. According to legends, each home has a house spirit called Domovoi who are small in size and are covered with hair all over. They often protect the house and those who live in it but I've never thought they would actually exist, yet here is a witch questioning the reality of myths. 

"I'm here to pick up three jars of Ausadhirdipyamanas" My eyebrows furrow at Baekhyun, a healing plant? and three jars of it? 

"Ah that's right, the wolf" The domovoi recalls and turns around to hop off the counter. I hear his tiny footsteps disappear and a few short moments later, a tall thick ghoul walks through from the back door and greets us 

"That'll be one hundred drachma's" I gape at the price but Baekhyun doesn't falter and drops a small sac onto the counter and the ghoul grabs the jars from below the counter to slide it over towards us "Nice doing business with you, please come back again" He says with a scratchy voice and Baekhyun just nods, taking the jars in one arm and pulls me to the exit. 

The ghoul keeps his eyes on us as we leave and once we're outside, I take a deep breath on clean air "How rude" I snicker, referring to the garlic and glancing back to where the shop would have been but to my surprise, it's gone. Must only appear for a certain time I figure. 

"So..." I drag out while settling in the car as Baekhyun securely stuffs the jars into the backseat pocket "Why the plants?" I curiously ask but he doesn't answer until he is sitting "Just to keep in stock" His reply straight and damp "You never know when you'll need it" I nod at his reasoning as he takes off

"But you guys have me" I unconsciously tell him and he actually chuckles at the cute remark "Yes we do have you but there might come a time where that's not enough" His grip on the steering wheel tightens as he weaves through the empty streets and back into the woods "I don't want you draining your powers for something we can fix easily" He further explains, running a hand through his hair 

I don't reply this time, invested in my own thoughts.

Was Baekhyun actually worried for me?

"Unnie!" Jieun jumps on me the second I step foot into the cabin and I stumble backwards a bit from the impact "Hello Eun" I smile softly, bending down to embrace her "I missed you" She whispers into my hair and I pat her back softly "I missed you too baby" I hear coos around us and notice that Seulgi is watching endearingly so I pull away to stand properly

"You're finally back!" Seulgi comes over to engulf me and I reciprocate hesitantly "Yeah sorry it took a while" I bashfully apologize and she takes a step backwards to shake her head "No worries, everyone here has had their fair share of breaks from the house" She admits as Baekhyun effortlessly brings in my suitcase from behind us

"Oh you guys can go freshen up, Yubin and Kyungsoo are making dinner right now so you can come down in an hour or two" I nod at her words and follow Baekhyun up the stairs and into the bedroom that is neater than when I had left 

"Thanks" I say as he leaves the suitcase at the foot of our bed "No problem" He replies then walks to his closet, his demeanor very different from what I was used to. The past two days he was like this and it was very off putting but I wasn't going to complain, I was thankful that at least he was talking to me.

After a long, long bath, I figured that dinner was going to take another fifteen minutes or so and instead of going down to greet everyone, I decided to take a well deserved nap on the bed I missed so dearly. It was soft and comforting to be back here no matter how embarrassed I was to admit it. 

I was just beginning to drift into my dreams when someone slides underneath the bedsheets and sighs loudly, I wince at the distance between us and that didn't just mean physically. 

So with all my pride set aside, I keep my eyes closed and scoot over towards the warm body

"Thank you again Baekhyun" I lift my head to lay on his chest and wrap one of my legs around his own but he just calmly my hair "Please don't hate me" My plead shaky 

He pauses for a moment but then lets out another sigh "I don't hate you Naeun," He assures me "I just-" He fixes our position and is now fully facing towards me. This time I open my eyes to see his own staring back at me with sincerity "I just don't know how to feel towards you" His confession slightly pangs my heart 

"Sometimes I see myself as your burden because you are so stubborn and independent that you never need me... But other times you act so clueless and it makes me want to-" My breath hitches at his sudden words, not expecting him to be so open "Makes you want to what Baekhyun?" I'm breathless when he takes a quick glance at my lips and his eyes flash a cold ice blue before returning to normal 

"Makes me want to go crazy over you"

At this, I don't know what had come over the two of us but just like how you can change the temperature on the faucet, our relationship keeps changing it's pace 

"I don't mind a little crazy" I say quietly but next thing you know, Baekhyun is slamming his lips against mine which I return just as hungry  

The kiss new and fast as his tongue pokes out and I voluntarily open up my lips for him to explore my cavern, lightly on his tongue and selfishly tasting him. Not missing a beat, he rolls over to hover above me and I wrap my legs around his hips, pulling his lower body down to meet my own which causes him to growl. This only excites me more and I seductively circle my hips but he pins my waist down with one hand

"Don't start please" He begs into the heated kiss and I just whine when his lips travel down my jaw to my neck where he leaves lingering pecks 

"Baekhyun" I gasp when a sensitive spot and begins nibbling on my skin "More" I ask with a broken voice and he just hums, moving his warm hand f
