Lead Me

Description

It was another fine summer’s day with the smoldering heat getting the best of Handong who was trying to file all her paperwork towards the end of a long work day. Finally she decided she couldn’t work any further and proceeded to pack her papers into her briefcase, deciding she would attempt to sort the rest at home. As she was about to leave the office and turn the lights off, she heard a strange noise from the opposite side of the office. She was still fairly new to the job and wasn’t quite familiar with the full layout.

The noise scared her but she thought she’d take a look as safely as possible before heading off. In the back of the office was a sectioned off division where HR sat and opposite to that was a closed office space where the CEO was located. It was this room that the noise was coming from. The lights were still on, which Handong found strange but admirable at the same time. A company where the boss was working as late and as hard as the employees, it was a nice change, compared to her previous place.

As she found herself in admiration, the door opened and she was caught off guard, in her panic she dropped her case. She looked towards the room and saw a lady standing in front of her, her tie was loosened and a couple of buttons were undone. She had silky brown hair that fell to a medium length and she was a few centimeters shorter than her. Handong, still taking in the scene unfolding in front of her, didn’t quite know how to respond as the woman was quite caught by surprise too.

“Hey aren’t you the new girl around here, wow, you’re here late, dedication, I like that,” the woman said with a smirk on her face. “Bora, try not to intimidate the new staff please” a silky voice came from behind as a woman who Handong caught a glimpse of sitting on the desk, came forward and rested her hand on the shorter woman’s shoulder. She had sleek black hair in a medium length and was strikingly beautiful along with an authoritative aura about her that one couldn’t ignore. She gave a charming smile at Handong before addressing her too. “Shouldn’t you be at home, it’s late.” Handong bowed before picking up her files and replying, “I was about to leave.” She said and shortly after turned to walk away. Just before taking the corner though, she catches a final glimpse in the direction of the other two, who seemed extremely friendly as the taller one fastened one of Bora’s shirt buttons.

Handong finally reached home and immediately dropped her bags on a nearby table before making her way over to the couch and falling flat on her back, letting out a deep sigh. The entire trip home she found herself thinking of the incident that she saw at the office. Those two weren’t just having a meeting, there was no way, not at that time. Handong recognised the extremely attractive lady with the black hair to be their CEO, Minji. So she didn’t want to question the incident but she knew better. Are those two...together? she found herself wondering. She then shook her head back and forth as if to shake the thought from her mind and found herself blushing but didn’t understand why. Not wanting to think of it any further, she got to the last of her work and went to bed.

The next day she headed into the office, she told herself she’d act completely natural but against her desires, as she set foot into the office she was met by Bora, the shorter girl from the night before. She placed her arm around Handong naturally as if they’d been friends for a while, but Handong had gotten this familiar feeling from her, from the start so she wasn’t too surprised. “So, about last night..” Bora said and Handong found herself internally starting to sweat. Oh god oh god, did I cross a line? Is she mad at me, I just got this job, what will I do. She finds her head filled with thoughts before Bora continues. “Let’s just keep that between us okay? We wouldn’t want people misunderstanding” she finishes and smoothly winks at her. Handong wasn’t sure what to make of the situation but found herself agreeing to the secrecy before she could even organise her thoughts. “You’re blushing by the way,” Bora says as she takes off, “It’s kinda cute.” This only makes her blush even further as she heads to her desk. She wasn’t used to this sort of friendliness at the office, especially from other women. Her old job often involved a lot of iness and elitism. It was a refreshing change but it also left Handong very inexperienced on how to handle it. The day seemed to pass relatively fast and this time she wasn’t left with a ton of work to finish, but she found herself curious, about the Bora and Minji incident and without realising it, she had stayed later. Not due to work, but rather due to her curiosity. She wanted to see if the same would happen again.

Time had passed and the office started to empty until there was no one left except herself and two other colleagues. Those two being Bora, and the data analyst, Yoohyeon. The CEO’s lights still seemed to be on too. To her surprise though, shortly after, Bora and Yoohyeon had left together, arms locked. Perhaps it was a fairly normal thing for employees to be so close, she found herself believing, before packing up her things and heading out. What she hadn’t realised, however, in those final few moments before she left, was that their CEO, Minji, had been watching her in the last few moments as she packed up and left.

That girl, new huh, hmm she piques my interest, Minji thought to herself with her back leaning against the doorway, merely watching handong’s mannerisms. Minji was an observant and curious woman, that loved affection and being loved and adored by others, it was also what led her to be so admired and loved by all the employees in her company, and for some it was more than just simple admiration. She watched Handong wondering what her thoughts were after the night before, seeing Bora leave her office. So she took it upon herself to take a closer interest in her new employee.

The following day it was business as usual and Bora, although she did not come over to Handong, did her usual wink and smirk in Handong’s direction. She was still unsure what to make of their “friendship” if she could call it that, so she just left it as it was. Being the new employee, she was once again inundated with work and time flew by, hitting the 7pm mark without her realising. So caught up in her work, she hadn’t even noticed that the entire office had left and she was the only one still at her desk. There was however one other. Again Minji had just been standing in her doorway observing the new worker that came to grab her attention so abruptly. Handong seemed stressed at the workload and was starting to develop an unhealthy posture, which admittedly started to worry Minji. She was reluctant to head over because she was happy just watching Handong for a little longer, but at the same time secretly worried over the girl's health.

She decided to head over towards Handongs station as calmly and slowly as possible. Once she arrived at her station, she reached her hand forward and slightly applied a pressure towards the center of Handongs back, slowly forcing Handongs posture to correct itself and have her sit more upright. As she did this she leaned in and half whispered in her usual silky soft tone, “You should be more careful with your posture if you’re going to work such long hours Handong”. Handong was startled by the touch, a jolt running up her spine but her nerves were at the same time calmed by the tone of Minji’s voice. Handong only now coming to realise her and the CEO were the only ones left, she felt a sudden nervousness wash over her body. It was almost as if Minji could sense it and felt a certain bit of power overcome her as she turned Handongs chair to face her. Her arms resting on either side of Handongs shoulders and their faces in close proximity. Closer than any boss and employee’s faces should be. Handong took a nervous gulp as a smirk slid across Minji’s face. Her hand made its way upon Handong’s cheek, “You’re even more beautiful from up close.” she whispered luringly. Handong felt her cheeks go red as the two lingered like that for a mere few seconds, that felt like hours to her. Not sure what to do, she found herself panicking and stuttering the words, “I.. I should head home.” before finding the courage to turn her chair back to the proper position. She hurriedly threw her things together into her bag and took off without a word further and Minji just smiled, knowing she had got under the girl’s skin.

That entire trip home, all that Handong found herself thinking about was Minji. But her thoughts didn’t consist of what she said or did a few moments ago. What she found herself thinking about instead, was the sensual tone in Minji’s voice. The soft plump shape and colour of her cherry lips. How soft yet powerful her touch was. Handong wasn’t sure what was overcoming her, but it was painfully clear that she found this woman attractive. She didn’t know how this happened or why, but she just found herself wanting to be in Minji’s presence again.

The following day, she felt a little awkward reaching the office. After what she experienced and the thoughts that followed, she felt a sense of guilt and uncontrollable desire, which led her to feeling a nervousness while at the office. What if Minji looks at me, oh my god, I'd want to run away, I won’t be able to control myself, heck I already can’t even think about it.  She found her thoughts running so wild that she hadn’t even taken note of her surroundings, and before she knew it, she was standing right infront of Minji who was smiling directly at her. She froze up and as predicted, her cheeks went red. “H..Hi Minji” she found herself stuttering as Minji simply smirked and greeted back. “Hi Handong, I’m glad to see you working so hard but remember to have lunch alright?” She said again using that irresistible authoritative tone. Her finger ran along the bottom of Handong’s chin, slightly raising her head so that the two of them locked eyes. Handong bowed straight after as a way of trying to prevent herself from going any more red and left with haste, straight for the canteen area. She plonked herself down at the nearest table and took a deep breath.

After she had managed to collect herself and gotten some food, she sat back down. She noticed a table of four other colleagues in front of her. She recognised them from their staff photos that were displayed in the hallway. It was Yoohyeon, the girl Bora had left with the other night, and then her co-workers Yubin, Siyeon and Gahyeon. She wasn’t trying to eavesdrop but couldn’t help but overhear part of the women’s conversation as they dropped Minji’s name.

“God Minji is so attractive, I’d give anything to get her to notice me,” Yoohyeon had said with her eyes gazing off into nothingness. “She let me hold her hand once” Siyeon bragged as the others looked in disbelief. “No way! You’re lying!” They said in further disbelief as the conversation continued. It was apparent that Minji was a rather desired and much loved person in the company and Handong could even go as far as telling some of her colleagues had a crush on the woman. It wasn’t so hard for her to believe, given her recent encounters. She found herself confessing her thoughts of finding the woman rather alluring herself.

After lunch Handong had found herself heading back to work and didn’t have any encounters after that for the rest of the day. In fact a few days had passed and she hadn’t seen Minji in a while. She figured it was probably just due to an increase in work as she found herself far too busy too, but it didn’t stop her from thinking about the CEO throughout the passing days. One day however, she had a work related issue that needed Minji’s authorization and found she finally had to approach her. She was too nervous to do so during the day so she decided to wait it out until later when most of her fellow colleagues had left. Time seemed to drag on this day but eventually the end of the day came and she grabbed her paperwork and headed over to Minji’s office. The light was on and strangely the door was slightly ajar, this had never been the case in all her time working there thus far. Minji’s door was almost always closed, unless she was out of her office.

Following that logic, Handong was about to draw the conclusion that Minji wasn’t there, until she had heard a noise coming from inside, a familiar voice reached her ears. She turned back around and took a step closer. Shortly after another woman’s voice followed, more audible this time. “Bora, you’ve been slacking lately. Should I punish you for that?” she hears Minji’s voice, now understanding why the other voice sounded familiar. What was being said though, got Handong questioning what was happening inside, and being curious, she found herself trying to peek through the small opening. She caught a glimpse of Minji appearing to be pinning Bora to the wall, holding her wrist against the wall with one hand and at the waist with the other. Bora didn’t seem to hate it either though as there was no resistance. Handong was completely surprised by the scene in front of her, not sure of how to react. She took a step back, accidentally knocking her foot against a nearby object and falling over. The thud was loud and heard by the two in the room, which led Minji to call out, “ who’s there” as she rushed over to open the door and check. To her surprise she spotted a tangled Handong that had tripped over network cables. Minji smiled, unaware of what Handong had witnessed while Bora tried to pull herself together and head over to the doorway, “you again huh, this is becoming a habit”, she said as she helped Handong off the floor. “I uh.. I just needed to give you this” she said, while shoving the files into Minji’s hands, bowing and taking off hastily. “Hey wait,” Minji said but Handong was too nervous to stop and paced on, right out of the office without stopping for a second. Minji, not once taking her sight off the girl until she had left, said “What was that about” asking Bora who had simply shrugged and used the opportunity to head home too, escaping her punishment that Minji had threatened with, minutes earlier. Minji, too captured by Handong’s actions, let it slide.

The following day approached faster than Handong had hoped and yet again she found herself nervous to head to the office. What had happened the night before, were her eyes and ears deceiving her. As much as she had hoped so, she knew what she saw and couldn’t deny the truth. But what shocked her most was how fast her heart was beating when Minji had stood in front of her. How Minji called after her but all she could do was run. After reaching the office, to her anticipation, her friend Bora made her way over. Once again slinging her arm around Handong as if they were close friends. “So how much of last night did you overhear?” She interrogates Handong. “N.Nothing really,” she says, feeling intimidated by the sudden questioning. “I see,” Bora replies, not buying a word of it. Look I know you must have seen or heard something, I could tell by how you suddenly took off. I was the same when I first started here.” Handong now looking at her as if wanting to hear more. Bora continued on, “What do you say we have lunch together?” Handong simply nodded as a sudden shyness befell her. “Alright, we’ll talk some more then. I’ll meet you in the canteen midday,” Bora finished, before heading back to her own desk and continuing with her work, Playfulling nudging Yoohyeon occasionally and teasing her. Yoohyeon didn’t seem to mind though and often at times, it looked as if she’d provoke the interactions.

Midday arrived fast and Handong had been keeping an eye closely on the time, making sure to head for the canteen not a second too late. She found an empty table and sat herself down, looking around the room but not finding sight of Bora. Her thoughts trailed off to what Bora and Minji’s relation was. Not too long after however, Bora entered the room, putting two coffees down on the table and grabbing a chair, making sure to sit right next to Handong, as close as possible. “Hey cutie, fancy meeting you here,” she flirts jokingly. “Hi Bora,” she replied with a smile, not being sure of how else to respond. ”I got you a coffee, not sure if you drink it...yeah i probably should have asked first,” “No, no its fine, i do thank you very much!” She replied warmly to Bora, taking hold of the coffee and sipping it. “So to get straight to the point., I’ve noticed that Minji has taken an interest in you..” “She has? W..what makes you say that?” Handong asks, curiously. “Well, when I first started here, it was a lot like this. She took an unusual interest in me and my habits and I felt very confused at the start. But Dongie..can i call you that?” she pauses shortly and Handong merely nods in approval. She puts her hand onto Handong’s shoulder before continuing. “I soon realised that, it’s just how she is, Minji loves attention, and to be honest, it’s nice being recognised by her too. But be careful not to get too attached okay?” she warned. Handong confused by her warning, questioned, “Why? Is she in a relationship? Is she a dangerous woman?” Bora smiled before replying, “relationship no, dangerous..yeah you could say so.” An uncontrollable smirk crossed her face. The two spent the remainder of lunch chatting away and getting to know each other better and the laughs and comfort radiating from them was captivating.

So enthralled with their conversations, they had not even noticed the inflow and outflow of people in the room and one of them had been Minji. She walked in after hearing two employees talking among each other about the natural connection the two shared and how some people had already formed rumours of the two sharing something more than just a work relationship. The first thing Minji had noticed was their close proximity. Shortly followed by how well and natural the conversation was flowing. She didn’t approach the two and simply watched for a minute, surprised that neither of them had noticed her presence, seeing that everyone else’s attention in the room, fell on her.

Seeing the two so close made Minji’s heart race but she hadn’t noticed, instead she was too fixated on the things Handong was doing as saying. The manner in which she spoke, the way she tucked her hair behind her ear every so often even the movement of her hands as she spoke. She wanted to absorb as much information as she could. Not realising her own actions, she suddenly felt a strange sensation in her hands and upon looking down, she found that at some point she picked up a banana and her grip had tightened so much, that it squashed and oozed out of the peel, mashing into her hand. Embarrassed that she let this happen in public, she tossed the banana and headed straight back to her office, cleaning what remained from off of her hand. What’s getting into me? She questioned herself. These emotions weren’t something she was familiar with; she tried calming herself.
A couple hours had passed and everyone was back at their desks working diligently. Minji however still found herself pacing her office room thinking about Handong and the whole scene in the canteen area. She couldn’t take it anymore, she felt a burning desire to have close interactions with the new girl too and without further hesitation, she opened her door and called out her name across the office. “Handong.” Oh, wow, that felt oddly satisfying, she thought before continuing, “please come see me in my office.” Handong didn’t think much of it, in fact she was convinced it was related to the paperwork from the night before. But just before heading over, she shifted her view to Bora, who without fail gave her a wink, and for some odd reason, that instilled the nervousness back into her. As if acting as a reminder to Handong. She took a deep breath and headed in.

She was met by Minji resting back against her desk, almost half sitting on it. “Please close the door behind you.” Handong did as she asked without question. “Well, come closer,” she said. Handong found herself moving closer without questioning it. There was something in her voice and the way she spoke that was so commanding, so powerful, that Handong couldn’t help but want to follow her instruction. She moved closer but stopped about a meter in front of her. Minji didn’t move, instead she just stared at Handong for a minute. Handong felt a sense of embarrassment washing over her, unsure of why she was called or how to react. She felt a strong sense to stand right where she was. It felt as if Minji was controlling her movement and she couldn’t resist.

Minji lifted herself from her desk and slowly started stepping towards her. Handong, still standing still, just watching Minji, felt a sudden increase in her heart rate. She knew exactly why. Long sleek black hair framing her flawless face. Plump cherry red lips, a deep alluring stare, these were all still very fresh in her mind since the first time she noticed. She had a tailored suit on but her blazer was thrown across her chair and her tie was loosened along with her top to buttons. Her sleeves were roughly rolled up but her shirt was still neatly tucked. This image in front of her, along with the woman’s strong authoritative energy was more than Handong’s heart could handle and her pace only grew faster the closer she got. With just one step between them, Minji stopped, her arm reached up and slowly down Handong’s left arm. “So, tell me, “ she said while slowly starting to circle Handong, “What is Bora to you?” She finished her question. Standing directly behind her. As Handong was about to turn to face her and reply, Minji raised both hands and gripped her shoulders, applying just enough pressure to make it clear to Handong that she shouldn’t turn.

Handong didn't want to keep her waiting and decided to answer swiftly. “I..I’m not sure what you mean but we’re just colleagues, she’s the only one that’s approached me and helped me feel comfortable here.” “Comfortable you say,” she says, circling back to stand in front of Handong once more. “And tell me, how do I make you feel?” There was a short pause and Minji already had an idea that she made Handong feel a certain way, she could see it and sense it in her body language, but she wanted to hear what Handong would say herself. “Well?” she encourages as she moves to stand only centimeters from Handong, their bodies bordering touching. Handong was far too nervous to answer, her heartbeat was louder than any other sounds in the room and she felt as if she was holding her breath. A familiar smirt crawled onto Minji's face as she leaned in even closer whispering each word one by one, “You. Can’t. Hide. that. Desire. From me.” her hand was resting on Handongs waist but Handong didn’t realise until much after, all she could focus on were the lips that were inches from hers and the air that brushed her skin as Minji spoke in her sultry tone once more.

She could tell the girl was entranced and after having her captivated, she stepped back, letting Handong off the hook, but Handong had remained standing motionless for a short time before turning around to head for the door. “Handong, i’m not done,” Minji said firmly and Handong found herself stopped immediately and turned to face her. She didn't understand how Minji’s instructions were so hypnotising but she felt like she wanted to listen to every word.

“About that paperwork.” Minji reached over her desk to grab the file and handed it to Handong. “I’ve approved all your requests, good job by the way.” she says smiling at Handong as Handong felt a sense of happiness in return from the praise. She quickly bowed and didn’t wait a second further after taking the files. She exited the office and without pause headed straight to her desk. After the day ended, Handong didn’t waste any further chance of being caught off guard and went straight home. Bora on the other hand had been observing her the entire time and to her it was obvious something more than just a file handover took place in that office.

She waited for the office to clear and immediately paced into Minji’s office without warning. Their dynamic was odd, when alone, Bora wasn’t afraid to address Minji more casually. They had been working together for the past 2 years already and grown fairly comfortable with one another. “Oh, hey beautiful, what brings you to my office,“ Minji says, packing her last few items and then walking around to the front of her desk and leaning against it. Bora walks straight up to her, “What happened in here earlier? With Handong.” she asked sternly and Minji just smiled before replying, “why? Are you jealous? I heard what the office has been saying, that you two have gotten awfully close in such a short time.” Bora new to the news responds, “What do you mean the … you know, never mind that, rumours aren’t unusual. But you… you i have known for 2 years now, you, are acting very strange. Tell me the truth Minji” She says one final time and Minji knew there was no way she could hide the truth from her. “Okay fine, I don’t know what’s come over me, but earlier, when I saw you two together, I.. I may have gotten a little jealous if i think back on it now. And you know me Bora, I never get jealous of anything. So, so, maybe.. So maybe i wasn’t sure what to do and called her here to see how she felt.”

Bora just lets out a deep sigh. “Minji, you know how deadly attractive you are, you even still get me weak, but if you felt something new that you’ve never felt before, don’t you think YOU may be developing feelings for her?” Minji felt a thump in her chest as Bora said the words. She had never met anyone that truly captivated her and the more she spent time thinking over Bora’s words, the more she realised that Bora could have been right. “Look to be honest, i’m hoping you do, because I’d really like for you to stop pulling at my heartstrings so that I can fully give my attention to..Yo.. to someone else.” Minji raised an eyebrow at Bora but gave up on wanting to get the name out of her, and rather put her energy and thoughts into how she felt. She spent all that time figuring out how Handong felt but didn’t take the time to realise her own feelings. In fact she had only just come to the realisation that the increased beat in her heart she was currently feeling, was an awful lot like earlier in Handong’s presence.

She lifted her hands to either side of her head and gripped her hair. “What should I do?” she said, being new to the experience. “My honest opinion? Don’t change, she clearly likes you as you are. And Minji” Bora heads over to her gentle gripping each wrist and lowering Minji’s arms, “please don’t stress yourself out like this. You go on scary power trips when you’re stressed” she said nervously. Under any other circumstance, Minji would have fought back, but she owed Bora, for helping her realise something that was so very obvious to her now.

The two headed home shortly after and so the day ended for them. Meanwhile, Handong had been tossing and turning all night with the thoughts of the earlier event that took place in Minji’s office. She gently brushed her finger tips over her lips, remembering how close Minji was to her. She recalled the feeling of Minji’s breath, her touch and even her scent. It had been hours but she was still captivated by the woman’s persona, her charm. To Handong, there was no doubt, and no question about how she felt. She knew she was smitten for this woman and found herself wanting to be around her more and more with each passing day. But she also knew that she had to remain professional given the circumstances. She also knew Minji had a tendency to flirt with others, she had seen it first hand. She wasn’t sure what to do, but knew that she had to try and forget about her feelings.

The next day she had headed into the office, Bora wasn’t her usual greeting self and even Minji seemed strange during the morning meeting. She decided to brush it off, and chalked it up to being awkward after the incident in Minji’s office. She felt a sense of relief at the same time however, as it made things easier on her. She was planning to avoid Minji but so far, Minji had been doing that for the past two days herself. Bora standing on the sidelines watching the two dodge each other however, couldn’t stand it any longer and headed into Minji’s office carrying files so as to not arouse suspicion and cause further gossip from spreading. Now that she knew the full story, she felt she could casually address Minji at any given time about it. She headed straight over to Minji who was sitting in her chair and gave her a light chop on the head with the fake files.”What are you doing Kim Minji! There is a beautiful girl out there and you’re acting like this. You’re powerful, charming, alluring Minji. Go after her.” Strangely enough, Bora’s pep talk woke Minji and she realised she wasn’t being herself. “Wow Bora, I , thank you, I needed the reminder. Also wow, this power Bora I could get used to.” Bora bonked her over the head once more, “You’re flirting with the wrong girl Minji!” Minji just rubbed her head and they both broke out in a little giggle.

Suffice to say, the next few days of the week went a lot differently, but the challenges remained the same. Handong was now trying harder to avoid situations where she’d be alone with her boss, while Minji was trying everything to get her attention and meet with her alone. From coffee brewing in the mornings, to paperwork sign-offs and even trying to steal glimpses in meetings. The harder she tried, the harder Handong pretended not to see her pleas. She was too afraid to fall for this woman any further and risk getting heartbroken. Minji however was a fearlessly determined woman too and crafty at that. She had arranged for a meeting to take place in one of their more executive boardrooms under the pretence that it would involve a number of people, Handong being one. She got to the room early and waited, leaning against the table as per usual and when Handong entered, she couldn’t help but make eye contact. She felt herself gulp before slowly continuing to walk forward, thinking perhaps she was just early. But mere seconds after, Minji spoke up.

“Could you close the door please.” There it was, that tone that Handong just couldn’t ignore. She did what she said and stayed near it, not moving, she had to do her best not to fall into Minji’s seductive trap. My god, this woman is incredibly beautiful, and the closer I get the prettier she becomes. She found herself thinking as her foot inched forward taking a step towards her before realising what she was doing. She stopped after and Minji moved towards her instead. “I’m sorry I had to do this, but you’ve been avoiding me and I was getting desperate to talk to you.” Minji admitted, slowly drawing closer step for step before she was right in front of her. “Handong, I’m not entirely sure if there is a right way to say this so I’m just going to be direct with you.” She took hold of Handongs hand and placed it on her chest. She rested it there for a minute, Handong could feel her heartbeat, but also her own as its pace increased. “ You’re the first girl to ever make me feel this strongly, this alive Handong. I didn’t understand it at first and i'm sorry if I came across too strongly, but you drive me crazy in the best way possible.” She could see Handong was a bit caught off guard and as she took a step forward leaning in as if to kiss her, Handong took a step back. Don’t fall for her charms Handong, she is sweet talking to you. Handong had been repeating that line a few times while listening to Minji’s words, but her heart was racing and shaking from wanting to embrace this god-like woman in front of her, that had been driving her equally as crazy emotionally. But she didn’t let herself give in, and instead without warning ran off out of the room and down the hallway. The nearest room was the canteen area and as she jolted around the corner, into the room, she ran directly into Bora.

“What the.. Watch where you're going.. Oh Handong it’s you” Bora responded, grabbing hold of her friend before she fell over. “Where are you off to in such a rush?” Handong scanned the room and a sense of relief came over her as she noticed they were the only two in the room. “I.. Minji cornered me in a room, and I took your advice, I blocked out her smooth talking and fled. But Bora, it was hard, I have to admit, I don’t know if I can avoid her like this forever.” “Wait hold on,” Bora stopped her. “What are you talking about?” With that Handong briefly told Bora what had just occurred 2 minutes earlier and filled her in as to why she came flying into the room. “Wait hold up. Minji confessed to you?” “yep, pretty much” Bora then further questioned, “And you ran off? Leaving her in the room on her own?” Handong thinks over the details again, “Yeah pretty much what happened.” “Handong, you have to go back.” What do you mean?” Handong replied in confusion. “She was being sincere.. Look how you feel about her.” Handong a little confused at the question, answered, “Well I’m pretty sure it's painfully obvious that I am beyond infatuated.” “Handong She was being honest with you, look I know what I said but Minji reached out to me the other night and told me that she believed she had true feelings for you, and I believe she does too.” “Wait you mean, everything she just said, and I just, I..I need to go..” Handong realising her mistake immediately turned back and ran straight back to the room.

She burst in flinging the door open and to her surprise Minji was leaned against the table as usual though she seemed to wear a sad expression. Minji caught a little off guard and called out her name. “Handong, you’re” and before she could finish her sentence Handong had walked straight up to her, rested her hands upon each cheek and kissed her without a word further. Minji was taken aback at first but eased into it. The moment they were both yearning for, for so long had finally come to life and both of them had never been happier. Bora had followed behind Handong when she took off and found the two happily in each other's arms, giving a smile before closing the door and letting the two have their moment.
