Description

Two different people. Two opposite personalities. One small world. One path that would eventually lead them to each other.

Foreword

Im Nayeon is a girl of multitude personalities. She is a good daughter, a great big sister and a dependable friend. She strives to excel in whichever activities she puts herself into because she believes that she is capable of being great. She is not a bragger, let's just say she oozes with confidence because that is how much she trusts herself. She is Apgujeong High's cheerleader as well as one of the best students academically. Oh, and if it isn't obvious just yet, she is a social butterfly and extremely popular with her peers. Everyone knew of her just by the sound of her laugh that would echo the school hallways even at the early hours of a school day morning.

Yoo Jeongyeon on the other hand may not be the exact opposite, but she isn't nearly the same as Im Nayeon. Jeongyeon is a decorated soccer athlete of Apgujeong High, however, she is a mysterious kind. Despite the popularity, given that she is the schools star striker and being in a circle of friends that consists of jocks and student council members, she is quiet and reserved. Only a few people knows her deeper that what she chooses to show, a tall, athletic woman in a varsity jacket, often gone with the wind if not being dragged by friends to expand her tiny social bubble.

Oh, 2 different poles of the same magnet, we can say. Keyword: SAME.

They're polar opposites, that's what they are both sure of. Im Nayeon is annoyed by how much serious and aloof the other is towards her. She doesn't get why her charisma doesn't work with the striker. "She strikes soccer balls, but she isn't striking herself. And she has the guts to ignore me? Who does she think she is huh?" she often says to herself. Yoo Jeongyeon on the other hand is just plain tired. "Oh god, she puts the word CHEER on cheerleader. How cheerful can this girl get at this hour of the day?" she wonders as Nayeon's voice fill the hallways at 7 in the morning, which she predicts would be enough to silence the impending alarm of the school to signify the start of classes.

And there goes the start of a day wherein one would be so loud just to be noticed by a standoff-ish athlete and the other one who's quite reached another level of expert when it comes to ignoring Apgujeong's favorite cheerdancer.

This is how their story goes.
