There it was. You knew this conversation would happen one way or another but you didn't think it would be this early. You stay mum. Fingers fidgeting while your heart pounds harshly against your ribcage. You know you wouldn't take it if you look at her right now so you keep your head down. 

"You know it hurts, Soyeon. Everyday, I... I waited for you but you just..." Her voice is level yet with those words, you can hear every concealed emotions surfacing above. "You keep leading me on. Made me believe that there's really something going between us and suddenly you left. Like, like I'm just nothing to you." She lets an emotionless chuckle escape from her lips.
