I look around, take in the faces of the people in my class. I already hate it here. With one glance I can already tell what kind of people they are. It's always been one of my abilities, being able to read people easily. I've had to, it's a skill that had been essential to my survival from when I was a child. I've had to be able to pick up on the unsaid, the unspoken, to ensure my own survival. This is all it was about, all life is about, survival. This classroom reminds me a little of that, survival of the fittest, that's all teenagers try to do. Survive and fit in. That's what they all seemed to want to do, a little in their own way. They were all a little too easy to read, all except for him, in the corner. 
"Ahem". Mr. Lee clears his throath and they all look to the front, most of them not really wanting to. Him in the corner is looking at me even before Mr. Lee continues.
"We have a new student starting with us today. Introduce yourself" he smiles at me.
I remember, speak korean, in a Seoul accent, but remember to not sound too fluent. I a little smile, don't want to come of too appraochable. Somehow my eyes meet his, and he is smiling back, the boy in the corner.
"Hello, I am Jia, I hope to have a nice last year of school with you guys". I am staring right into his eyes, and him right back.
