Description
At 40, Chaewon is dying. She is a renowned neurosurgeon who ironically is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and that’s when her sister, Eunbi, enlightens her to this fact:
“I am not saying there’s something wrong with being an accomplished woman - good career, loving family and friends - but single at 40. However, there’s still one more thing for you, Chae. You are dying. What better to do now than just live and… try! Date everyone, anyone, because I am not biased or anything but you are an attractive woman! Most importantly, you have nothing to lose so put yourself out there. Who knows, you may find your one last love. Didn’t someone say ‘it’s better to have loved and lost than to never loved at all’? That’s for you Chae....
… If you aren’t going to have a long life, may as well try for a good one.”
Perhaps her good life starts when Chaewon meets 39 year old idol actress Kim Minjoo.
The good life may just be a great one…

Foreword
Finally posting the 2kim story I have been writing on and off for awhile. Now before reading on, I like to give a reminder that this is fiction so please don’t take things for real. Also, if you read my previous fics, my writing still stays the same - angst with a slight fluff - so do prepare for pain. This has a mature theme as well so if you are uncomfortable at any point, I do suggest you stop reading.
For some context, I started writing around Oneiric promos? So Chaewon’s hair is short in this fic which suits the neurosurgeon job anyways (Yes, I found a little inspiration from the character Chae Seonghwa in Hospital Playlist too~)
