Cliffhangers
Tripped Into LoveDuring the car ride home, Chaewon was seemingly in her own world as she stares out of the window like she was the main star in a music video, humming to herself with a dumb smile on her face.
She also couldn’t help but snuggle deeper into Minjoo’s jacket, warmth immediately surrounded her with the scent of the younger girl’s perfume invading her nose. Jasmine and vanilla, sweet and pure, just like the other girl’s personality.
Smiling to herself and thinking about how she could get used to wearing the other girl’s clothes, especially if it meant she smells jasmines and vanillas every time too.
Arriving at her house she thanked her driver for sending her home, and she also informed him that someone else would be taking her to school tomorrow so he could sleep a little bit more.
Skipping like an idiot up her very long driveway, she looked like an idiot, which is exactly what her friends said.
“She looks like an idiot.” Yena commented while she was eating some popcorn, it seems like the duck decided to always keep a supply on her in case a new episode of her favorite drama comes on.
“An idiot in love.” Replies Hyewon while helping herself to some of Yena’s popcorn.
“It seems like Kim Minjoo gets to live another day.” Said Eunbi.
“Calm your unnie, we still have to interrogate her to find out what happened.” Chaeyeon couldn’t help but bounce in excitement at the thought of teasing Chaewon.
“I don’t know about this Kim Minjoo, she seems to be too smooth, she must be a player.” A pouting Sakura added.
“Just because Minjoo acts on her feelings doesn’t mean you should be a bitter . And it’s not like you aren’t a player too!” Sakura trembled in fear at the glare Chaeyeon sent at her.
Sakura was really starting to get annoyed at how Kim Minjoo was such a romantic person because now Chaeyeon kept saying things like this.
On the other hand, Hyewon was staring at Sakura with a mix of disbelief and pity. She feels like the gamer should just make a move at this point because it was getting too pathetic.
Chaewon finally arrived at her living room and noticed all of her friends chilling there and they seemingly had been there for hours now.
“What the hell are you guys doing here?” asked a bewildered Chaewon.
“We want the tea, duh?” replied Chaeyeon, as if it wasn’t obvious enough.
“Well, what if I don’t wanna tell you what happened?” teased Chaewon, who was she kidding though she knew she’ll tell them sooner or later.
“Yah, Kim Chaewon, do you want to die?” Okay, so maybe Chaewon will tell them sooner because judging by Eunbi’s glare she won’t live long enough to wait for later to come.
“Fine, fine, fine!” She exclaimed, taking a seat between Eunbi and Yena, which in hindsight was probably not a good idea.
Rolling her eyes at how impatient her friends were, and at the fact that no matter how old they get they were still such huge gossips.
“So I was at the rooftop blowing off steam--
“Sulking--”
“Trying not to get angry--”
“Probably crying--”
“DO YOU WANT ME TO TELL MY STORY OR NOT???!!!” Chaewon was fed up with the constant interruptions, so maybe she WAS crying, but they didn’t need to know that.
“YES WE DO! Yena will just shut up now, right ducky?” sweating at Chaeyeon’s glare, Yena nodded vigorously in reply. So, that’s how Sakura feels every time the feather glares at her.
