“Why didn’t you?” Jessica softly asked.

“Hmmmm?” Sooyoung replied. She couldn’t hear what Jessica was saying.

“I mean, why did you let me go?” Jessica asked. Sooyoung is standing in front of her, a meter apart.

“What?” Sooyoung asked back, looking confused.

“Why didn’t you ask me to stay?” Jessica said while looking straight into Sooyoung’s eyes with sadness.
