Early in the afternoon, Moon Byulyi quickly rushed to leave Southern California University heading to the Stanford city. Anger had burned the young man's heart since receiving news from a close friend about the reckless actions of his brother, Moon Minhyuk.

Jung Wheein's phone line was ended with various insults about Minhyuk reckless actions and Hyuna's betraya. He himself did not know who he was more angered with now, Minhyuk or Hyuna? His respect for his brother died instantly.

"This er is really crazy? Where does he put his brain, huh? For a cheap girl like Hyuna, he is willing to do that stupid thing! Minhyuk is really crazy! His brain is on his knees! He thought by committing suicide, all his problems can be solved? Everyone have other problems too!" Byul nagged non -stop.

"You have no right to say that, Hyung! You have never fallen in love. You do not understand the meaning of love. Love makes human beings lose their judgment and sanity. You don't know because you never feel it." Hyejin said who has been sitting next to Byul in his car since they left from their university. Hyejin was worried, afraid that Minhyuk would leave them.

Byul felt that he not even want to understand the meaning of love. Love is just a metaphor for poetry. Love is just in the movie. Love is just a fairy tale in a novel. Love is the folly of human beings who do not want to accept the fact that it does not actually exist.

"I will not forgive that woman, Hyejin. I will not forgive Kim Hyuna. I will force her to pay back the debt of her life with my brother. I will take revenge! If Minhyuk dies, I will teach her until she realizes the sky is too high! She will be sorry for toying my brother! " Byul swore with a sense of anger that poisoned his mind.

"I think it's weird, hyung. Minhyuk hyung isn't the easy-type. Your brother is a patient person. His actions this time don't reflect himself. It's like there's something else that makes him really depressed. Don't you think it's weird?" Hyejin gave his opinion.

"All this happened because of that woman! If I get her, I will force her to kneel in front of Minhyuk hyung. I will never forgive her, Hyejin. I will make her regret toying with my brother!"

"Be patient, hyung," Hyejin persuaded.

"Patience? I've been patient enough, you know. If Hyuna is a man, I've been punching her in the face. Let me leave bruises on her face. Luckily she's a woman," said Byul fiercely.

"Hyung, don't talk like a crazy person, okay? You have to remember, Minhyuk hyung tortured himself. Hyuna didn't try to kill Minhyuk, Byul hyung," Hyejin persuaded again, trying to deny his friend's reckless accusation.

Hyejin doesn't want Byul's revenge and anger ate himself. He knew his friend's hot temper. As long as his anger can be controlled, sooner or later he realises.

Moon Byulyi was not a vindictive person. Although his mouth fluent in speaking harshly but his heart was good. The important thing now, Hyejin needed to calm his heart first so that he did not act recklessly. Byul’s anger needed to come to an end.

"You say that because you still love Hyuna's cousin, Sunmi, right? Where are you and Minhyuk's brain, huh? You're just like hyung. Don't you realize that Hyuna and Sunmi are just playing you? What magic potion do they use, until you guys are blind to see the reality that is already in front of your eyes? It's useless to study hard. Your brain is not function." accused Byul without thinking long. He ignored Hyejin's feelings that were scratched by his words. 

"Hyung, you don't really love your mouth!" replied Hyejin who was furious when Sunmi's name was on Byul's lips.

"Whatever! These two women really don't know how to be loyal. Instead of being in love with hypocrite women like them, I'm more willing to live single," added Byul.

"Hyung, turn there. Stanford Central Hospital, right?" said Hyejin when Byul drove forward. Instantly, Byul turned the steering in seconds at the end. The driver of the car behind him pressed the honk.

"Hyung, be patient! You want to go to the same ICU with Minhyuk hyung?" Hyejin angered half screamed.

"One way or another, we'll get to the hospital too, right?" Byul said coldly.

Hyejin shook his head. Upset with the fire of Byul’s anger that could possibly have took their both lives with his speedy and crazy driving. 

"Hyung!!" Hyejin shouted as his friend pressed the brakes dramatically.

Hyejin who was not buckled up the seatbelt was thrown forward. Luckily his head only banged slightly on the car dashboard. He wiped his head. A lump the size of a quail's egg appeared on his forehead that was throbbing with pain.

"Are you crazy, hyung?" Hyejin gasped.

Ignoring Hyejin who was still dizzy, Byul continued to step out of the car that was stopped right in front of Stanfort Central Hospital.

His face was pale. His unrelenting anger was now mixed with worries about the safety of her brother, Minhyuk who according to Wheein was lying in the ICU due to excessive taking of sleeping pills.

Byul ran fast into the hospital. Hyejin was left in the middle of the road with a row of drivers' cars relentlessly honking their horns in the back. With no sympathy for his friend, Byul continued took the steps without looking back.

The road problem left to Hyejin as it seen as a minor problem if compared to his brother's critical condition.

"Hejin! Why did you park the car in the middle of the road? You're crazy?" A voice heard while knocking on the car window next to his seat.

"Move the car quickly!" the voice directed him again.

The sound of knocking on the window glass next to Hyejin, stabbed his eardrum and sent an impulse to his brain, forcing him to raise his head. Hyejin himself did not know whether he was happy or not when Wheein appeared in front of his eyes.

Without wasting time, Hyejin jump into the driver's seat left by Byul. He looked straight at the girl who was already bending her body towards the window frame.

"Move this car, Hyejin-ah!" Wheein said in a loud voice while looked at the row of cars waiting behind. She was more anxious than Hyejin.

"Fine! Get in!" Hyejin replied.

As soon as Wheein stepped in, Hyejin continued to speed Byul's BMW to an intersection before turning other road to find parking lot. Wheein sighed in relief. The pressure she felt earlier begin to disappear.

"Where is Byul oppa now? Minhyuk oppa is in critical condition. The doctor is not sure whether he will be safe or not. I have been waiting for oppa since this morning," said Wheein.

"If you know Minhyuk hyung is serious now, where did you go?" Hyejin asked mixed with sarcasm.

"Get my stuff. I thought if Byul oppa doesn't come, I want to accompany Minhyuk oppa at the hospital," answered Wheein while showing the small bag she brought with her as evidence.

"So, answer my question. Where did Moon Byulyi go?" she asked once again. 

"He just got into the hospital," Hyejin replied while sigh. Then he cast a glance at the girl next to him.

"Who else dares to stop the car in the middle of the road like a crazy person if not Byul hyung? " Hyejin snapped as he slammed the steering wheel, voiced his anger that had been detained since earlier.

"Hey, relax Hyejin-ah. Since when have you been so grumpy?" Wheein asked in a soft tone.

"Then you though you and Byul hyung are the only ones who know how to get angry. All this time, I've been quiet when you both throw a tantrum. I'm the only one who has to endure your and hyung's anger. After all, what am I? A statue? I have no heart and feelings?" said Hyejin.

"Hello, you never keep quiet if it with me! You're always mad at me every time I make you angry. Don't pretend to be nice, Hyejin. You only hold out if Byul oppa get angry. When with me, you never tolerate," Wheein begin to raise her voice which had been slowed down for a moment.

"By the way, what happened to Stanford? It should be quiet. Why so busy?" Hyejin muttered, trying to change the topic of their conversation. He did not want to quarrel with Wheein because of such a small matter. After all, there is no point in prolonging it any longer. He and Wheein are not enemies but a good friends since school.

"Did you forget? Today is Friday. The shopping center in this city is open until midnight. Besides, it's almost Christmas. There are many offers, so many people go shopping," explained Wheein.

Hyejin's mind drifted away remembering the last time he walked on the street near Stanford University with Sunmi, Wheein, Minhyuk and his best friend, Byul. The city that used to be where he and Byul wasted time and calmed their minds. Byul, Minhyuk and himself love to lie facing the river behind the Stanford University.

"You do love Byul oppa, don't you?" Wheein asked  suddenly, killing the silence between them.

Hyejin's gaze once again fell on Wheein's face. His mind was filled with various question marks. Why that issue that she raised now? Why wasn’t the question about Minhyuk not being the main topic of their conversation? Minhyuk who was probably still lying in the ICU. Minhyuk who trying to take his life because of a girl named Kim Hyuna, a cousin of Hyejin' ex-girlfriend, Lee Sunmi.

Neither Hyejin nor Byul had ever met the girl named Hyuna. It been over a year he and Byul haven't been in Stanford. It was not that Hyejin doesn't like Stanford, it was just that he tried to avoid coming across with his ex girlfriend, Sunmi. He also knew, Byul was trying to avoid meeting their friend, Wheein.

Jung Wheein, the same girl, who was sitting next to Hyejin now had actually been in love with Byul for a long time. But Byul only considered her as an ordinary acquaintance, never more than that. Byul's heart was as hard as a rock, hard to erode despite years of trying to be persue by Wheein.
