Description
If you ever saw Ha Maerin on the street you would think she was just another regular young woman, but being the director of a company in an industry overrun by men has set her on a rough path even she did not forsee.
With the strong front she must uphold so she is not trampled on in her field of work, can she afford nurturing emotions and relationships that run the risk of breaking down her walls?
Maerin learns that feelings often aren't ours to control when a client begins to shake the stronghold of her heart, carving his name deep in her heart.
Foreword
I decided to write a story for the first time in a long time! I've missed writing but I didn't have any inspiration, so I decided to use a prompt generator and this is what I got:
Write a 300 word story in the fairy tale genre. It's about an art director and should include a wooden cross. Also use the sentence 'Who needs friends?' Bonus prompt: The story takes place two-hundred years from now.
I decided to stick to the prompt but be flexible with the word count. If it inspires me, I just may write 10 time more than 300 words! I'm starting writing this at 4am, so let's see how this goes!
UPDATES! (I thought it'd be fun to leave a log of my progress as I go)
4:30am update. I have an idea for the story and I did a little extra by creating a cover image haha. Always creating simple posters.
5:30am update. I wrote out 280 words xD I've gotten rusty, but I did need to do some research so I guess it is understandable. I'm quite tired so I might continue this another time, huhu!
