" I think I love her, ma."

It's 11 pm at night in the studio and this is one of those rare times when there's nobody there but Rom. 

He's been pulling an all nighter these days for his upcoming single and it's draining his energy. Not to mention the burden he carry in his heart where he can't see the person that he likes every single time he wants to. She's far away, working towards her dream. Just like he does his. 

"Well then, you should go for it, baby. There's nothing stopping you for doing so. ", said the older woman from the other line of the phone. 

" But.. ", Rom stopped, his mind wandering around picturing the face of a certain girl that's been on his mind the past few months, "She's her. And I'm me."

The older woman laugh lovingly hearing what his own son said. It's not the usual Rom, she thought. His baby is normally a very confident person and always goes for whatever his mind sets to.

"This is not the usual you, baby. Do what you would normally do. We're not living in Joseon era anymore. You could love anyone you want to love."

Rom's lips widened into a soft smile. 

"I know that, ma. It's just very comforting that I can actually talk about her with somebody else that isn't my own self. And it's even better that I got to do it with you. "

The woman answered, "What are you gonna do now, then, Rom? "

He put out the cigarette that he's been smoking, "Well, for now I'm going to turn off this computer and go to sleep early today. Then I'm going to do the exact same routine for the rest of this year until she comes back and get out of her 2 weeks quarantine."

" Then I'm going to make sure that I'm the first person she sees when she's out. "

He's clicking a Window icon on his computer, "G'night ma, it was nice talking to you."
