His face was flushed and he shook his head, a hand reaching out to steady the king. “We have to do something. We have to find a way to save you. The dragon inside you has to be released, your highness. We need to call forth the Fire, Wind, Water nation to help us. There is still a chance.”

“We all know that that’s impossible, Kun.” Taeyong said, a soft smile on his face.

“That’s not true. We all saw the prophecy. We all know that there is a way for you to not to die.” Yuta said, his eyes on Taeyong. “We’ll all find a way, your highness. We won’t let you die. I’m your royal advisor, I refuse for you to accept your fate.”

“Yuta—” Taeyong raised a hand to stop the man from speaking when the doors opened and Jaehyun walked in. “Oh, the knightsmen are back. Lucas, Jaehyun, Johnny. What have you brought me?”

“We have him.”

“Who?”

“The boy we saw in the prophecy.” Jaehyun said, pushing the boy forward. “Mark Lee.”

“I thought it was a recessive trait!” Mark said. “Oh my god! I’m not just Mark Lee, I’m a shapeshifter! Not just a shapeshifter, I’m a royal!”

“Yes, Mark,” Bruce Lee said to his son. “And it is time for you to fulfill what you were always meant to do.”

“Oh, wow. I never read about the history of the Neo Kingdom before!” Mark exclaimed. “What does 1870 BFA mean?”

Taeil phased into a person, laying the book in front Mark. “BFA stands for “Before the Fire Nation Attacked”.”

Mark blinked. “And what does 23 AFA mean?”

“After the Fire Nation attacked,” Tae-il said, looking at him like he was stupid.

“You use the year that the fire nation attacked as a benchmark?” Mark asked and Tae-il nodded, the male raising an eyebrow.

“Like I said, Mark Lee. Everything was peaceful, until the fire nation… attacked.”
