Three and half years later

He smiled once he read the text message. He quickly gather his things and stood up from his seat.

“I’m going.” He told the others. They all turned their head to him, eyeing him for the sudden excitement he was displaying.

“Is she here?” one of them asked. He just smiled widely in response and quickly jolted out of the door. The others looked at each other once he left, knowing smiles were plastered on their faces.

He reached the rooftop of the building where she told him she was in no time. He quickly scanned the surrounding in search of her. He found her standing in front of the rails, looking over the city lights below that can be seen from there.

She turned her head to his direction when she sensed someone coming near her. She smiled widely when she saw it was him. Slowly she approached him, closing the gap between them, eyes remained at his with each steps.

He held his arms wide open as he stopped and wait for her to reach him. His heart beats were erratic and his smile was wider than it can be. His eyes didn’t fail him, it was her, he was right. She may looked a bit different now that she had her brown hair cut into shoulder length but she still feels the same.

He felt his heart being squeeze a little bit because of the happiness he was feeling right now. She had finally reached him and she wrapped her arms around his waist too the moment he took her in.
