I removed one of my earbuds and looked at him.

“Did you hear what I say?” Chanyeol said. I continue looking at him. I heard him sigh.

“I said we are going to have a new manager and you know what?” I shook my head as respond. I heard him sigh again.

“She’s going to be assigned as your manager!” he excitedly exclaimed. I nod my head.

“Can you at least be excited for this?” he grunted.

“New manager? I just hope she’ll –“ I was caught off guard when I realized what Chanyeol had said. My eyes widen in surprise.

“Finally!” he laughed when he saw my reaction.

I glared at him. It’s not that I hate having a female manager, it’s just that everyone knows how awkward I feel when there’s a new one here, and yet alone having a new female manager? This kind of scares me off.
