Foreword

background

ย ย  THE VICTORIOUS

After training together for over the past year in separate groups of their own subgenders -ย having overcome obstacles together in their small groups, smashed monthly evaluations, even expecting to eventually debut together in their unitsโ€ฆ.suddenly, all the Rise Entertainment male traineesย are put through a survival program to put Rise Entertainment back on the map.

Not only is the survival program NOT based on their secondary gender, which was customary of all survival programs, but theyโ€™re thrown in with the rival subgender units of their own company. To keep things โ€˜fairโ€™ their subgender is hidden from the public, showcasing only the talent and visuals of all participants.

After the inevitable ups and downs of REBELLION, RISE ENT.โ€™S GROUNDBREAKING SURVIVAL SHOW, the remaining 14 are announced as Riseโ€™s new mixed subgender boy group, VICTORIAM, the answer to all concepts. With the ability to switch units and keep a steady stream of comebacks due to the large number of members. But, your ranking hangs low over your head, a constant reminder of where you stand.

After all the trials and tribulations, imagine the boys' surprise when they're suddenly put together as a giant group of all male, mixed secondary genders, omegas, alphas, and betas. Their subgenders are then revealed to the public, along with their rankings. The rebel underdogs - ready to overtake and overturn the social norms of society by destroying subgenders. This was definitely not the plan, especially when rise entertainment just debuted a similar concept of mixing genders with the clan.

What if they didnโ€™t want to cause a stir in society? What if they just wanted to debut in a normal group? it wasn't common and it usually failed so why the hell were they going through with this? it didn't make any sense and the boys of victoriam weren't happy, to say the least - especially at the prospect of working with their rival subgenders. The ones they had previously trained to compete with. Now theyโ€™re a group instead of rivals?

what happens if you're an omega who hates alphas? or a poor beta feeling cheated to blend? it up and debut, is what you do, or call it quits on your chance. being chosen to debut only happened to a handful of trainees, the golden opportunity. so should you really throw that away? UNIVERSE

in a universe of secondary genders, abo, kpop groups have been separated based on secondary genders.

but in a new wave of the modern gender equality movement, rise entertainment is bringing not one but two boundary-breaking groups to the table that, in an unconventional move, mesh all genders - the clan, a co-ed abo group, and their brother abo group, victoriam.

victoriam is a group of the future, breaking the boundaries of secondary gender norms by placing male omegas, betas, and alphas all in the same group.

these boys are the kpop rebels for only a handful of blended secondary gender groups have been formed in the entirety of the world, although all so far have ended with severe repercussions or were too taboo to get off the ground. so far none have succeeded in stardom.

blended groups are too challenging, too risky - it's unsafe, or society has deemed. To avoid accidental mating and other risks and taboos of society, it has always been conventional to keep omegas in their own group, with alphas and betas on the other side. but this segregation in the industry has only added to the inequality between secondary genders.

the world claims it's protecting their omegas and betas, but in reality, they're only hurting the entire population with rifts of domination and submission. to inspire a modern movement towards equality, rise entertainment is putting their foot down and destroying the norms and inspire a new generation of sub gender power.

will the risk of victoriam pay off, or will the group succumb to the same ill fate as the others daring to be different before them? only time will tell if abo genders can really mesh and create a society of equality.

can they break the mold that traps them by coming together as a group? Can they overcome their rankings? or will the public and their secondary gender biology rip them apart?

ย ย ย MIMI SAYS

Hi everyone!! It's the revamp! i've finally gotten victoriam ready for the repost with some fresh updates and a new concept! THIS STORY IS THE BROTHER-FIC TO MY OTHER ABO APPLYFIC, THE CLAN!

Both stories are connected by the same company but with two different groups, and this one focuses on an all male abo group, Victoriam.
You can crossover ocs from either applyfic, apply to both, or whatever you want!
This idea was completely inspired by the lovely Buttfluff!! Thanks so much for giving me your blessing to use this concept (which I'm doing for both stories lmao). <333

Go crazy with it and have a good time! But please be warned this story, as well as the connected story, will be rated MATURE! If this concept isn't for you, then pls dip out now.

Your OC for Victoriam can be a male of any secondary gender (alpha, omega, and beta), but I'll have more information on the sub genders in another update that applies to both VICTORIAM and THE CLAN.

i might actually accept more than 14 boys depending on the number of apps i get in. considering i really want this to be a huge group to fit the concept. so think more nct-esque. I'm defintiely going to be including other trainees as well for the 'survival aspect' so regardless you might get your ocs shown anyways.ย

Thanks again for reading, and kisses to Buttfluff for the inspiration! <333

Chapter 12: I really like the ranking aspect to this! It's a good fit for the survival show aspect to things
Out of curiosity, does the #1 rank end up being leader, or is that something that's more traditional with the oldest member/most experienced/best fit/etc?

I'm definitely going to enjoy playing with the ranking idea, maybe use it to give my kid(s?) a twist. Like someone that aims to be in the middle of the pack because he wants to debut but doesn't want to be super high-focus, or maybe someone that intentionally tries to rank low (but somehow ranks high instead). I'm gonna have fun with this òwó
