Foreword
“Hey,” Yifan starts, rubbing at his nape. “Look, I know your stage is about to start in a couple of minutes, so I won’t keep you for long.” Convenient. In fact, Yifan had planned in advance so he could time this meeting just right and he would have a cue to leave.
“What is it, Ge?” Zitao asks.
Yifan gulps. “I have some time off tonight. Do you want to have dinner with me?”
(Tao knows. Even if Yifan does not tell, he knows.)
(Yifan realizes why Tao was—is—so special to him.)
I have been supporting yifan and tao from 2012 and i am immensely happy that they both have found success in their personal careers and that they are good friends again. they, and so many great taoris authors have accompanied me for the past 8 years - so I am finally taking a shot at writing my own!
this story is just my way of reconciling the current state of their relationship. Even though it is based on real circumstances, it is purely fictional.
if you like this story, please feel free to follow me on my fic writing twitter. :) i am always open to making new friends and talking about taoris!
