Part One

It was a particularly peaceful evening at Red Velvet’s abode, just JoYermSeul chilling in the living room, watching a movie of their choice as they waited for their two other members to arrive. It’s 8PM and the members who went out to get their dinner left two hours ago, still not in sight. Aside from the message telling them to get the movie started, WenRene haven’t returned any of their calls or messages thereafter.

“Unnie! Unnie, look a fan asked if we can post a picture of all our hands together.”

“What was that?” Joy picked up the remote to pause the movie they were watching at the living room. They all crammed on the sofa seat where Yeri sat, sandwiching the youngest in the middle while looking over the latter’s phone to see the post.

To: Red Velvet-unnies,

Unnies, I don’t think I’ve seen a picture of all your hands together. Though, I’ve seen you show off your newly manicured nails on SNS, still it would be nice if we could see everyone’s hands on one picture together. I hope you can grant this request. I love you <3

“Eh? No way,” they both looked at Joy, who frowned before sliding down the couch towards the floor, grumbling, “As the tallest member, it’s a given that I have the biggest hands compared to all of you. And … my hands are kinda rough, so – Nope.”

“Your hands aren’t rough, Joy,” Seulgi said, slipping down next to their pouting member, “If it’s rough, don’t you think I would’ve complained by now?”

“The point is; OP didn’t ask for who has the biggest or the roughest hands, so will you please chill out?” Yeri deadpanned, eyeing Seulgi who’s now playing with Joy’s hands.

“Anyways, where the hell is our parents? Shouldn’t they be here by now?”

Joy played the movie again, laying her head on Seulgi’s shoulder while the latter trace tiny circles on their joint hands between her lap, “You should get used to those horndogs not coming here on time, Yerm. Remember whe—

“REMEMBER WHEN YOU SAW THEM DO IT IN THE KITCHEN!” Yeri shouted, beating Joy into saying the wrong words to trigger a mental replay of that memory they’d rather not talk about but –

Red-faced, Joy threw the couch cushion at a cackling Yeri who tumbled down the back of the couch in her haste to get away from Joy’s wrath, “THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!”

“I FCKIN NEED TO BRAINWASH MYSELF TO SLEEP AFTER THAT!
 

“HAHAHAH! YERI: 1, JOY: 0,” running away from the living room, cackling as she shouted, “AND PLEASE! NONE OF WHAT I SAW!”

“COME HERE YOU!”

“Oh, unnie –“ Joy skidded to a stop, arms pulled back ready to hit Yeri, “Wasn’t it at the table whe— OUCH!” If Joy could fit the cushions on Yerim’s mouth she would’ve done so. Completely ignoring the sight of the whip cream sitting innocently atop their dining table or the unfinished plate of carrot cake their Joohyun unnie probably left in her haste to go with Seungwan.

“I HATE YOU!”

“YOU ACT LIKE YOU’VE NEVER DONE IT WITH SEULGI UNNIE! NEED I REMIND YOU: OUR WALLS ARE THIN!”

“OUR’S WAS NEVER THAT WILD!”
