Description

This story will be from Moon Gang Tae's perspective. Curious about a man's mind in a relationship? Sweetheart you came to the right place. Men and women go well together, yet sometimes we forget how much we have in common. We both cry, overthink and have our hearts broken. The differences could have been the way we protray our emotions.

Moon Gang Tae met Ko Moon Young back in freshmen year when they were both doing their diploma in  Melbourne, Australia. They were both travelers at heart and korean of course. While Moon Young applied her bachelor degree in their homeland, South Korea, Gang Tae was offered to go to England. After being apart for 5 years, Gang Tae suddenly received news of Moon Young's death. Moving on is easy to say however hard to do. All of a sudden...

"Moon Young? Ko Moon Young, is that you? How...how is this possible?"

Me breaking down is only expected
Because you’re the one who used to hold me but you’re gone
I didn’t even think about how you were getting so tired
It’s my fault for not holding you

Foreword

University of London, Year 2018

Different types of noises were coming from everywhere. I was waiting outside the examination Hall of my university, on my last day of our Final Year examination. There was a strange feeling. I was apprehensive but not nervous. This was my last step in as an engineer student's life to enter a bigger life outside, after this I'm going to graduate from this foreign university where I have spent many years preparing myself for this day. Today was my last paper. A bonus for me, it was my favourite subject. Some were frantically checking their notes for a final time before the first bell was to ring. Some were rehearsing lines mutely, but with their lips moving. Some of the people I recognise or you can say classmates were also busy, the same way avoiding the eyes of their friends. Some parents who flew far across their homelands had also come and were seen giving last minute support to their children. Probably after the exam, they'd pack and leave immediately. I miss mom, dad...and my girlfriend Moon Young.

10 minutes remain before the exam hall doors open. I thought I'd check my phone for the last time, afraid if I forgot to put it in silent mode. My eyes shifted from the phone and back again to the messages. I bit my lip tightly in attempt to hide any sound that wanted to escape from my mouth; my heart sank. My lower lip quivered as words slowly made their way out of my mouth. “Dead?” I began, yet what followed was engulfed in the tremors.
