Love To Hate MeHello guys, I'm back with a new story. Sobrang random lang talaga nito and I honestly don't know kung gaano ito kahaba. I have some more chapters pero I want to know your feedbacks/opinions about this. Para ganahan din ako magsulat :)
Salamat and Stay safe!
*Lisa's POV*
"How's school, Lisa? I heard our own Jennie here has been voted as President of the student council. Congrats, iha. We're so proud of you." My mom said as she looked at Jennie with a big smile on her face.
I forced a smile and glanced at the person sitting beside me. "It's good, ma. Kakastart palang naman po ng second year. Wala pa pong masyadong ganap." I informed her. I carefully looked at my father at nakita kong kumunot ang noo niya. He brought the napkin on his lap and brought it to his lips.
"Jennie's president? How about you, Lisa?" My father said with a stern voice.
"Vice po, pa." nakatungo kong sabi. Narinig ko yung mahinang "tsk" niya. Jennie's parents as well as my mom looked at me apologetically.
"Actually, she's been a really great help sa council tito." singit ni Jennie sabay ngisi sa direksyon ko.
"But still, Lisa. You can do better than that." mariing sabi ng papa ko. "George, it's alright. Sabi nga ni Jennie malaki naman natutulong niya sa council. You're aiming for #2 this year no, Lisa? That's a good thing too." my mom replied.
"Oo nga kumpare, Lisa's a very bright kid. And I heard points lang ang lamang ni Jennie at nung #2 last year yung pinagkaiba sa score ni Lisa." Dugtong pa ng mama ni Jennie.
I've never felt so small. I hated this weekly dinners with the Kims, especially with their golden daughter, Jennie Kim.
"Speaking of, I heard Lisa hosted a party last weekend. Though Jennie wasn't able to go, namention niya na ang dami daw nagpunta sa resort niyo and it was fun. I wish I attended parties nung bata-bata pa tayo kumpare. Small gatherings lang uso nung mga panahon natin no, George?" kwento ng daddy ni Jennie as he sipped on his wine.
Jennie Kim you little....
"You hosted a party sa resort?" my father asked with his brows raised. Napakamot ako ng ulo. "Can I talk to you for a second sa labas, Lisa?"
I'm dead.
Sinundan ko si Daddy sa labas at naktungo lang ako while I prepared myself for what's about to come.
"You disappoint me, Lisa. Nawala lang kami ng isang linggo ng mommy mo at kung anu-ano na ginagawa mo sa mga properties natin. We're not getting any younger, Lis. Sana matutunan mong maging responsable dahil lahat ng pinaghirapan namin ng mama mo, ikaw ang mag-mamanage pag nakatapos ka na. Get it together, Lis." My dad said as he looked at me wearily. He sighed.
"Can't you try harder? Be more like Jennie. She's very prim and proper. Matalino. The perfect daughter. Mabuti at naging kaibigan mo siya, take her as an example at wag na matigas ang ulo, okay?"
Wala akong naisagot kung hindi tumango nalang. It's only a ing party.
The only time I had to get away from all this pressure and Jennie Kim takes it away and snitches on me.
"It's getting late, may pasok pa kayo bukas. I'll text the driver para maihatid na kayo sa condo niyo." Jennie's dad said at sabay sabay kaming tumayo. We headed outside the restaurant, with Jennie and I tailing our parents.
Dumating yung sasakyan ng parents namin and we kissed them goodbye.
"Take care of each other ha." sabi ng mommy ni Jennie sakin as she kissed my cheek. "We'll be going now."
Their cars drove off and Jennie Kim and I were left alone to wait for our driver.
"." We both whispered.
Nakita kong inirapan niya ako. "Ano?" tanong ko sakanya. "Stop bei
