“It’s still a no, Wendy.”

The stern expression and that iconic quirked brow on her girlfriend’s face sent a shiver down Wendy’s spine. What a dilemma. All Wendy wanted was a pet she could hold in her hands and drown in it with all of her love.

Just the tiniest complication was her girlfriend, Irene is absolutely scared of all animals. Wendy knows this tidbit explicitly since she took Irene to an animal café as a first date. She thought it was swell idea. It went amazingly bad since Irene was scared stiff during that allotted 90 minutes and the blonde thought she had to use her (expired) CPR license training to use.

“I’ll do all of maintenance on its cage and take it to all of the vet’s appointments, Baeby!”

“Please consider it! Joy send me this picture from the shelter and I think this animal is perfect.”

Irene looked on as her love hyper talks on about the joys of having a creature and furiously swiping at phone for the picture that swoons her. As the reference photo came to view, the eldest of the two couldn’t help but cackle.

It was a hamster…that looked exactly like her blonde gf. Puffy cheeks you want to poke. Expressive clear eyes. And an eye smile that was so adorkablely cute. Its fur was a perfect match with her love’s current hair color. It looked like Wendy in animal form.

“…Baeby?”

She had to wipe the tears as she focused on her Wannie. Irene took in a moment to enjoy that cute pout and the concerned furrowed brow on her girlfriend’s face. She gave a sigh and shook her head. Irene was really that whipped for her.

“…. I guess having that hamster as our pet wouldn’t be so bad.”
