TITLE: the disappearing act SUMMARY: In which Kwang Soo, So Min and Se Chan try that magic blanket trend on one unsuspecting Kim Mi Young.     A 6-year-old Kim Mi Young beamed brightly as she sat on a chair facing her samchondeul and imo. She wriggled in her seat in excitement and anticipation for what was about to come.   She was currently with her parents’ friends, being babysat by them - which Mi Young would like to disagree with the argument that she’s no longer a baby but a big girl now - while her parents did errands.   While they wait for her parents to come back, her Kwang Soo samchon was going to do a magic trick on her, and she can’t wait to see what it will actually be! This was going to be her first live experience with magic, and while she knows that her Kwang Soo samchon isn’t a magician (he’s an actor, her mom said), she was still excited for it. It was going to be really cool, he promised.   “Yah, Mi Young-ah, any more wriggling and you might make a hole in the chair,” So Min teased lightly, crouching down in front of the little girl to gently hold her down and stop her from moving too much.   “Imo! That’s not true,” Mi Young frowned and looked at Se Chan who was helping Kwang Soo ‘set everything up.’ “Right, samchon? I won’t make a hole in the chair even if I move a lot?”   Se Chan grinned, “Ani, Mi Young-ie. Your eomma might get mad once she finds the hole you’ve made in the chair.”   Mi Young stuck her tongue out at her samchon and imo and wriggled even more out of spite, prompting Se Chan and So Min to burst out in mock cries of protest.   “Yah, yah, you two. Stop teasing her. We’re just about to start,” Kwang Soo cut in. He crouched down in front of Mi Young and draped half of the white blanket on her lap. “You ready, gongju?”   “Neh, samchon!” Mi Young exclaimed.   “Alright then,” Kwang Soo shared a knowing look with Se Chan and So Min before fully draping the other half of the blanket over Mi Young’s head, completely covering her from head to toe.   The three adults slowly backed away from the covered little girl, and soon after, Kwang Soo started spitting out random gibberish to make the magic trick legit.   So Min and Se Chan covered their mouths to contain the laughter that threatened to escape, while Mi Young tried to lessen her wriggles of excitement.   It was finally happening! She was finally going to experience a real live magic show! And what made it better is that she’s experiencing it with her most fun relatives. Hooray!   Kwang Soo, despite Mi Young not being able to see him, started to circle around her, waving his arms and squirming his hands all over.   Suddenly, he took hold of the hem of the blanket and swiftly pulled it away. Se Chan and So Min gasped exaggeratedly, but Mi Young didn’t even notice how fake it was because she was too occupied with being excited about being invisible.   “Wah, Mi Young-ie! Where did you go? So Min-ah, where did she go?” Se Chan wondered aloud.   “Kwang Soo oppa, jjang! You made Mi Young disappear!” So Min praised Kwang Soo, who bowed deeply in response.   “I know, I know. I have magic hands,” Kwang Soo boasted.   “Samchondeul, imo, you’re funny!” Mi Young giggled, but she went unnoticed by the three, further enforcing the idea that she really did disappear.   She went down from the chair and approached her Kwang Soo samchon, stretching her hand out to tug at his shirt. “Boo, samchon!”   Playing along, Kwang Soo screamed in his ‘fright’ and ran away from where he was previously standing, yelling out,“A ghost just touched me!”   Mi Young bellowed in laughter. Her samchon really was hilarious! She wondered why he didn’t become a comedian instead.   She did the same to Se Chan but instead of tugging at his shirt, she stepped on his foot, eliciting a loud yelp from the adult. “Yah, Mi Young, I know you’re invisible, but that hurt!”   Mi Young laughed loudly again. Being invisible was fun!   They had ‘played’ being invisible for a good few minutes - tugging at their clothes, blowing in their ears, and slapping their hands or legs - until Mi Young grew bored of it. She wanted to appear again because she was thirsty and hungry, and she can practically hear the Pororo crackers calling her from the pantry.   She went to her Kwang Soo samchon then, and tugged at his shirt again. “Samchon, I’m hungry. Make me appear again.”   But it seemed like Kwang Soo didn’t hear her because he continued talking to Se Chan and So Min about her Sun Bin imo.   Mi Young moved to So Min, but she got the same ignored treatment from her, same with Se Chan when she tried him.   This wasn’t fun anymore, and being invisible for this long was getting concerning.   Out of the blue, So Min spoke, “I wonder where Mi Young is right now.”   “Imo, I’m here!” the kid in question tried to get So
