Description
Relationships aren't easy, but it takes Lots of understanding, negotiating, forgiveness, attraction and communication to work - most of the time, it is about coming to a compromise and finding that sweet spot. Sometimes, it also takes many well-intentioned meddling, middle-(wo)men to help guide things along. First fic, featuring little clues and "Easter eggs" from their interactions/interviews over the years. Timeline may jump back and forth depending on the POV. Open to suggestions :)

From Chapter 1:
He thinks too much. She feels too much. He gives too much. She needs too little.
He was Mr Know-it-all but did he know her heart? She hopes he does, even when she doesn’t.
From Chapter 2:
But they would be good for each other. The preacher and his pupil, the Queen and her knave. It was an oddly balanced relationship with both sides tugging, taking turns to lead and be led. But this also made for off-the-charts unrequited .
