Description
“I didn’t think I’d ever see that,” Jungeun murmured.
“See what?”
"You smiling at me."
Only two elves have been given the ability to control moonlight, all the rest were born with it. The first was Jungeun, a warrior with a long past of violence. The second was Jinsoul, a healer for her people.
Over the years that followed, both Jinsoul and Jungeun needed to learn that Jungeun's past doesn't define her.
Foreword
The Astra are elves who were born with a connection to the moon. It lets them control moonlight.
The Arcsa are the elves who are connected to water, but don't necessarily have control over the light.
Aside from moonlight, Jinsoul controls water, while Jungeun's magic is fire.

This is a prequel to The Lie of the Light with Lipsoul as the main characters. It takes place about three hundred years before TLotL. You do NOT have to read that first, nor read this one before reading TLotL. These two characters had a long history and I couldn't help but want to write it separate to the other one (because there would've been a lot of flashbacks otherwise).
And because it's what happened before, Vivi is sadly not in this story, but she's got a big role in the actual story. Choerry will come into the story later, while the rest are much more on the side-lines compared to the other story.
