visit

“Yujin-ah,” Eunbi called, a little bit muffled but peeked her head to Yujin’s door room after. “Are you and Minjoo will go out later?” She asked, pushing half of her body to the room, eyeing the tall figure that was sitting on the bed.

Yujin tilted her head, humming. “Yes, me and Joo-unnie will pay our house a visit.” She answered, standing up from her bed and straightened her hoodie. Eunbi nodded. “What time?” She questioned which made the younger look at the clock. “Around ten? My mom insisted us to eat lunch at home,” Yujin answered and started to roam around her room, picking up the empty chip bags and lost dirty shirts.

Eunbi’s eyes narrowed but she was relieved because she didn’t need to tell Yujin about her trash lying around the floor. “Alright,I have a schedule too with Yuri and Yena. Chaewon, Sakura, Nako, and Hyewon are also out because they have a schedule for ISAC today. Take care, hmm?” She said and waited for Yujin to respond.

“Hmm, yes, of course.” The younger responded with a small smile while she packed up her things into her backpack. “Good. I’ll bring some food later when I go home. Don’t forget y’alls masks.” The leader reminded her before finally walking away from Yujin’s room.

After the oldest went away, Yujin continued to pack her things and cleaned her room up afterwards. She couldn’t afford for Sakura to again because her room looks like a flea market.

As she showered, she couldn’t help but to chuckle every minute because she’s excited to meet her puppy, Mongchi. Her parents just got the puppy recently and because of her hectic schedule, she wasn’t able to pay her little Mongchi a visit yet.

She then dressed up, just a simple white shirt with a blue jacket and track pants. She didn’t bother to put some make-up on, after all she would wear a mask anyway plus, it feels light and comfortable whenever she doesn’t apply make-up on her face.

“Unnie,” Yujin called, combing her hair with her own fingers and opened Minjoo’s room door, going inside the room without even bothering to knock. Well, Minjoo herself already said that they just can go in if her door is not locked. “Are you ready?”

Yujin spotted Minjoo applying some lip gloss on her lips. “Hold on,” The older muttered, focusing on applying lip gloss. The younger just shrugged, walking closer until she was just literally behind Minjoo, watching her through the mirror intently.

Minjoo noticed it and froze for a moment, blinking before finishing up. “Okay, I’m done. Lemme just grab my purse.” She muttered and walked to her bed, grabbing her purse that was resting on top of the covers. Yujin hummed and waited for Minjoo.

Together, they walked out from the older’s room and went to the living room, bidding goodbye to the other members who will be at the dorm. They put on their masks first before finally going out from the building, walking side by side on their way to the bus station.

Yujin can’t help but to blabber about Mongchi throughout their short walk, Minjoo just listened to her carefully, responding if needed but she focused on listening to the younger because she looked very happy and excited about meeting her puppy for the first time. Her eyes were formed into crescents, matching Minjoo’s eyes too— and that was enough to tell that they were grinning ear to ear through their masks.

They entered the awaiting bus and sat on the vacant seats, talking about the concert yesterday. They stayed like that for twenty minutes or so, until they reached their destination— teasing each other and talking about random stuff.

Yujin went out from the bus first, jumping to the sidewalk while Minjoo just shook her head, smiling a bit before walking alongside the younger woman. They stopped by a nearby convenience store to buy some soda and chocolates, also some fruits and dog treats.

Both of them reached the Ahn’s residence in no time. It wasn’t Minjoo’s first time going here, not just twice either. She sometimes accompanies Yujin whenever they don’t have any schedules and then would visit Minjoo’s family afterwards. However, for this day, they didn’t plan on paying the Kims today since they are away.

“Mom, We’re here.” Yujin shouted, peeling off the mask away from her face and brushed her fringes. Minjoo did the same after taking off her shoes, looking around the interior of the house with a small smile, nothing changed much— the curtains changed and also they replaced the cushions covers.

Then there was a small squeaky bark coming from one of the rooms. Yujin beamed while the older was a little bit surprised, she had a mini heart attack but recovered immediately nonetheless.

“Oh my god, is that Mongchi!?” Yujin shrieked, her eyes sparkling in happiness and excitement, she was hopping even.

“Oh, Yujin-ah, Minjoo-ah!” A woman in her mid forties appeared from the kitchen, wearing a smile and it went wider upon seeing her daughter and her group member. She went to Yujin first and gave the tall girl a brief yet tight embrace before giving Minjoo a hug too. “Oh my goodness! Beauty, godly as ever!” She complimented sincerely which made Minjoo blush.

“Come on, sit, sit!” Mrs. Ahn led them to the living room while Yujin kept stretching her neck up, trying to spot the puppy but to no avail.

Then there was a bark, Yujin started to clap her hands like an excited child. “Where’s Mongchi!?” She asked, trying to distinguish where the bark came from and started to pace around the living room. Minjoo just chuckled, pulling Yujin down beside her to take a seat.

“Relax, child,” Mrs. Ahn said with a giggle. “Your pup is there at its new bed~ Stay back there and I will get Mongchi.” She instructed before disappearing. Yujin squeaked, not complying and stood up, trying to go after her mom but Minjoo stopped her, tugging the younger’s jacket and mentioned her to sit down.

The younger complied immediately with a small pout but it didn’t last because it changed into a wide grin upon hearing another bark but the sound was getting closer. And there it goes, Mrs. Ahn reappeared with a small white puppy on her arms, barking cutely at the sight of unfamiliar faces.

“Mongchi!” Yujin happily exclaimed and went into her feet, running towards her mom and met her halfway. She excitedly scooped Mongchi away from her mother’s hold and cradled the small puppy with a grin. Fortunately, the cute puppy didn’t resist or bark at Yujin, it seemed like it knew who’s really its owner. “Careful!” Mrs. Ahn exclaimed, shaking her head at how excited her daughter was.

Yujin cooed at the puppy, ignoring her mother’s scold and waddled over to the couch, showing the cute and behaving puppy on her arms to Minjoo. “Unnie, unnie! Look at Mongchi!” She happily said. Minjoo grinned, leaning in to look at the puppy who’s looking at them with its adorable eyes innocently.

“What a cutie,” The older muttered and started to hold the puppy’s paw while Yujin gently rubbed its head, smiling widely. Minjoo then tilted her head up, looking at the younger instead.

Yujin’s smile is very bright and charming, eyes turning into crescents as she cooed her puppy. She looked very happy upon finally meeting Mongchi that Minjoo couldn’t help but to smile too, and averted her gaze when she realized she was staring too long with warming cheeks.

“Aigoo!” Mrs. Ahn exclaimed with a smile, walking to the both of them. “Mongchi is a nice and well-behaved pup yet quite a troublemaker and very energetic! That cutiepie likes its chin being rubbed!” She said, also poking the curious yet confused puppy’s nose.

Minjoo giggled. “Well, like pet like owner, I suppose.” She said with a small smile, gently rubbing Mongchi’s belly while Yujin rubbed the pup’s chin. What a spoiled puppy.

“Anyway, I’m making lunch. Minjoo-ah, is it okay for you to help me?” Mrs. Ahn asked and Minjoo immediately stood up. “Sure!” She responded with a smile and immediately went to the kitchen. “Unnie, be careful!” Yujin shouted from the living room.

Minjoo was tasked to fry some chickens, easy peasy while Mrs. Ahn made the heavy dish. Meanwhile, Yujin decided to stay there in the kitchen with Mongchi on her lap, playing with it while watching Minjoo cook— teasing her from time to time which earned her a nag from her own mother.

Finally, the food was finally ready. Mrs. Ahn prepared it for them and after a short prayer, the three of them ate peacefully there, with Mongchi running around the kitchen since Mrs. Ahn already gave the pup its own food.

They talked about the concert, mostly about Minjoo’s shocking adult ceremony performance with the other three. Mrs. Ahn expressed her shock and amazement because they did well on their performances. Yujin whined because her mom showered Minjoo compliments while she didn’t get one but she would like to agree to her mother, Minjoo really did well, like so well.

Of course, Yujin knew about the performance but she still got shocked over it. Whenever they practice the performance, Yujin couldn’t help but to look away and go red because it was too intense for her own liking— and thus, she wouldn’t be able to watch it properly.

“Yeah, yeah, you did well too.” Mrs. Ahn said to her daughter with a plain tone which made Yujin whine while Minjoo laughed wholeheartedly, playful slapping Yujin on the arm.

The lunch went well after that. Yujin volunteered to wash the dishes and Minjoo was kind of shocked. “Hey, I’m diligent.” Yujin whined. The older snorted. “Not all the time though,” She teased and the younger girl glared at her cutely.

Minjoo laughed, rubbing Yujin’s chin before walking to Mongchi and started to play with the puppy while the tall woman started to wash the dirty dishes. And after that, they went to the backyard and played with Mongchi there, trying to attempt to teach the cute little pup some tricks.

Mrs. Ahn excused herself and left the two girls alone in the house with the puppy since she will go to the market to buy some food and other things.

After Yujin and Minjoo realized that Mongchi was getting tired, they finally decided to enter the house again and let the exhausted puppy sleep on its own dog bed. It didn’t take long since after Yujin placed the cute little pup on the bed, Mongchi instantly fell asleep.

With that, the two women were left to entertain themselves. Yujin invited Minjoo to her room, and offered her that she can rest there. Of course, Minjoo accepted, she was kind of tired, honestly speaking.

It wasn’t also the first time she went inside Yujin’s room so she’s already comfortable inside, plus the room is very cozy enough for Minjoo to feel at home.

The older woman plopped herself on Yujin’s bed and hugged one of her bolsters, inhaling the calming yet sweet and soft scent of it, everything here just smells Yujin and she was very satisfied, also calm.

She watched Yujin take off her jacket and hung it on the backrest of her chair before walking around her room, checking some things. “Are you sleepy?” She asked, opening the cabinet and started to rummage through it.

Sitting up, Minjoo cutely nodded. “To be honest, yes. I didn’t get a proper rest last night.” She said, ruffling her hair while yawning. Yujin hummed, closing the cabinet before walking closer, to Minjoo and sat beside her. “You should take a nap then. Maybe an hour or two will do, hmm?” She said softly.

Minjoo liked the idea. “Sounds good,” She responded, not breaking the eye-contact. “How about you?” She then asked, scratching her nape. Yujin reached for the older’s nose and pinched it. “Maybe I’ll join you in a bit, I’ll just do something outside.” She replied with a cheeky smile.

The older rubbed her nose, her lips puckered. “Okay then, I’ll be expecting you to meet me in dreamland in a bit.” She said with a smile and Yujin mirrored it, nodding along but obviously, she was a little bit flustered. “Yes, now go sleep.” She instructed and even pushed Minjoo until she’s finally lying down on the bed fully.

Yujin stood up and covered Minjoo with a blanket, the latter just stared at her with fondness in her eyes. Poking her tongue out, Yujin finally went out of her room, leaving Minjoo there, tucked under the thick comforter. The older fell asleep almost immediately with Yujin’s scent helping her to fall asleep faster.

Minjoo woke up two hours after, she heard Mongchi barking and it woke her up instantly. She checked the clock and it was just four in the afternoon. She was about to get off from the bed when she felt an arm on her waist holding her back, oh, that’s why Minjoo felt warm and comfortable. Yujin was spooning her from behind, still deep asleep.

When Minjoo moved, Yujin also shifted, frowning and it made the older chuckle but even if she wanted to cuddle with the younger, she thought that they needed to fully wake up now.

The older slipped away from Yujin’s hold and stretched for a bit before standing up, staring at the younger who’s still sleeping peacefully. Maybe Yujin could still use some rest. It’s still early anyway.

After fixing herself, she quietly went out of Yujin’s room and spotted Mrs. Ahn hushing Mongchi down. “Good afternoon,” She greeted, which surprised the older woman a little bit. “Oh, Minjoo-ah. You’re already awake.”

Minjoo smiled shyly. “Yes, Yujin is still asleep though.” She responded with a gentle tone. “What do I expect from that sleepyhead.” Mrs. Ahn said and shook her head. “But it’s a great time to finally show you her other baby pictures!” The older woman’s mood shifted, as well as Minjoo. Both of them were beaming in excitement.

Whenever Yujin is around, they couldn’t properly gush over those pictures because the younger would suddenly grab the album and run around the house, it really seemed like those pictures embarrassed Yujin but Minjoo badly wanted to see it.

Finally, Minjoo saw the ‘cursed’ album, as Yujin would like to call it. Actually, there was nothing to be embarrassed about there, Minjoo was so delighted, enjoying the pictures she was seeing and even took some pictures of it. Yujin looked so cute, she couldn’t help but coo every single time.

After that, they decided to drink some tea and talked about things. Yujin went out of her room, still groggy while ruffling her hair, looking around. “Where’s Minjoo-unnie?” She asked her mother. Mrs. Ahn pointed to the restroom.

The younger then sat down on the couch with her mother, yawning. “Mongchi~” She called the pup who was sleeping on the floor but its ears perked up upon hearing its own name and looked at Yujin. The latter picked the puppy up and placed it beside her, taking some few pictures of it like she was never satisfied of the hundred pictures she had taken earlier before.

Minjoo appeared after using the restroom, standing beside Yujin since Mongchi occupied her space and so she just suddenly sat on Yujin’s lap, catching the latter off guard but she pulled her closer anyway. It was meant to tease the younger only but Minjoo blushed a bit when Yujin s her arm around her waist and tightened her hold like she didn’t have the slightest idea of letting Minjoo go.

They then played with Mongchi while Mrs. Ahn just watched the two in awe, smiling fondly before excusing herself to get them some snacks. Even if there was a space for Minjoo to sit on, the older didn’t leave Yujin’s lap. Well, it’s very comfortable, plus the younger doesn’t have any plans on letting her stay away anyway.

Time flew fast and eventually, it was time to go back since it was getting late already. Yujin badly wanted to bring Mongchi with them but it’s not allowed, maybe next time she will bring Mongchi if the others are fully present.

“Be careful on your way home, alright?” Mrs. Ahn said, hugging Yujin and Minjoo. She then turned to her daughter. “I’ll call you later.” And Yujin just hummed and responded with a nod.

Minjoo smiled. “I really had fun with you, Mrs. Ahn.” She said, holding the older woman’s hands. “Oh, please. Just call me Auntie or, Mom— which is better.” Mrs. Ahn said with a smile which made Minjoo blush and Yujin just awkwardly coughed. “I really had fun with you too! Visit us more often too~” She said with a wink before finally shoving the two off with a wave.

Finally, the two started to walk to the nearest bus station side by side. This time they weren’t talking, just enjoying the comfortable silence while watching the dim sky. They reached the shed and sat on the vacant waiting seats. Minjoo took out her phone and checked their group chat, she saw some selcas of Yena and Yuri and many more. There was a message from Eunbi too, asking where they are.

She was about to answer it when Yujin suddenly spoke. “Hey, unnie.” She called for her attention and instantly, Minjoo turned her head to her, humming in response. “Do you want to stroll around before fully going home? The night sky is kind of nice and I know a good night market nearby. We can have our dinner there too, I heard the food stalls there are good.” She suggested with a small dimpled smile.

Minjoo thought of it for a while, it seemed nice. “Why not?” She responded with a smile. Yujin beamed and stood up. “Then let’s go~” She said, reaching for her hand— tugging her away from the seat. Minjoo let herself get dragged by the excited puppy.

“Eunbi-unnie, me and Yujin will be home around ten or so~ We decided to have a late night date last minute :D <3”

“Okay, just be careful. Enjoy <3”
