Carat Cafe is a newly opened cafe in town. It is owned by thirteen youngsters who dedicate their service to their customers.

Chwe Hansol is a relaxed guy, according to his best friend Kang Youngmi. Despite his lay back personality, he can pull off an exaggerated reaction whenever he says or hears something. If you'll ask Youngmi about Hansol's most said expression, it would be saying "Ok, cool".

Youngmi confessed to Hansol one day and much to her surprise, he likes her back. Since then, their lives change somehow: she would go to the cafe to wait for him to finish his shift as they'll walk to school together; he'll end his shift early as they'll work together with their homework at the cafe sometimes.

After the confession, Youngmi is confused at one thing: What's their status? She doesn't want to assume they're in a relationship because both of them didn't proclaim it. She was anticipating Hansol's next statement after the confession, but to her surprise, he said his famous line before ending their conversation that day.

What's his plan? What's their stand in their life after the confession? The only way to answer the question is for her to ask him directly and clarity on both sides.

Youngmi went to the cafe and waited for Hansol's shift to end.

She saw him at the counter as the guy waved his hands coolly making her waved back with a smile. He gestured to wait for him in five minutes as she nodded in response. She sat at the empty seat and looked outside, the incident yesterday flash to her mind.

They were walking home when Youngmi stopped on her tracks, gripping through her bag strap on her shoulder. Hansol stopped on his tracks after realizing it and glanced at her whose biting her lower lip.

"What's the problem Youngmi?" he asked.

"I like you Hansol" she blurted as he dropped his jaw while his eyes are widened.

She waited for him to calm down until he cleared his throat preparing his answer. "I like you too Youngmi," he told while flashing his gummy smile, staring at her directly to her eyes.

He let out a dry laugh beneath those gummy smiles. "Ok, cool!" he exclaimed out of the blue looking away and began walking.

Remembering the confession made her confused. What's the 'Ok, cool!' meant that day? Is it a statement out of excitement or to cut the awkward situation between them?

Her thoughts cut off when she noticed Hansol's presence beside her. "Let's go?" he asked waiting for her response. She slowly nodded and left the cafe.
