6:45 AM at Kang residence

Kang Seulgi is sleeping soundly in his room. Alarm on his phone keeps ringing since 15 minutes ago but it failed to wake him up. Door opened slowly by his 7 years old sister, Kang Yerim. She climbs on his bed and bounce

“OPPA, WAKE UP. IT 7 IN THE MORNING” the younger Kang keep bouncing on her brother bed “BEAR OPPA, OPEN YOUR EYES”

Seulgi groan while opening his eyes. He turn off the noisy alarm then tossed his phone to bedside table “Yerim, it still 6:47 AM”

“Mommy told me now is 7 already” Yerim blink her eyes cutely as she sit on her brother laps

“She lied to you” Seulgi yawn “Where is my morning kiss?”

Yerim shifted and turn around. She circled her arms around Seulgi neck and kisses his cheeks “Good morning oppa”

“Good morning baby” Seulgi hugging his little sister

“KANG SEULGI, WAKE UP” Mrs. Kang roared from the kitchen

Their sweet time was disturbed by their mom voice; both of them jumped “I wake up already mommy!” Seulgi answered

“Oppa, you better shower now. Mommy will scold you again if you late”

“Alright, tell mommy that I will down in 15 minutes, okay?” Seulgi pats Yerim head

“Okay oppa!” Yerim run out of the room while Seulgi stretch his body. He tidy up his bed then grab his towel

When he had done shower, Seulgi go to his walk-in closet to dress up. He zone out for few minutes then back to the world again because of sneezing

“Aigooo” he rubbing his runny nose “What should I wear for today?” he tapping his chin. In the end he chooses blue body fit shirt and black suit as usual. He takes his favorite black and white striped necktie to match with his outfit

“Outfit of the day!” Seulgi proudly looking at his reflection after tying his necktie knot. He grabs his phone and takes mirror selfie “Cool”

Then he style his hair, spray perfume and wear his wristwatch “Done” he looking at his watch then gasped loudly “Omo, 35 minutes more!”

Seulgi run from his bedroom to dining table. His mother greet him with morning glare while Yerim smile sheepishly

“Morning mom” Seulgi smile innocently

“Morning lazy bear”

“Where is daddy?”

“He off to office already”

“Why appa go so early? Did he have meeting? He doesn’t tell me” Seulgi grab a glass of milk on the table and drink it

“It’s not early, Kang. He left on time. It’s you who’re late”

Seulgi curse mentally as he noticed that he is late “Mom, I will go now” he kiss her mother on cheek then kiss Yerim forehead “Bye!” he strode to front door

“Oppa!” Yerim appear at the door before Seulgi enter his car

“Yes?”

The little girl holds out a piece of sandwich to Seulgi “You should eat”

Seulgi crouch in front of his sister “Aigooo, thank you baby” he take the sandwich then pinch Yerim cheek “Oppa will buy you new story book soon, okay?”

“Okay oppa” Yerim said cheerfully

“Go inside. Oppa will leave now”

“Alright” Yerim return to their house and close the door

Seulgi glad that he not stuck on traffic jam and he arrived 10 minutes early than expected

“Fuhhh, I make it” he fixes his necktie before get out of his car

“Yo, boss!” Seulgi greeted by his cousin at the hallway. The blonde jog to Seulgi with big smile

Both of them greet each other with fist bump “Son Seungwan, what with big smile today?” they continue walking

“I just in the mood today”

“Where is Sooyoung?”

“She texted me early this morning and said that she come early then go out again to hunt for food”

“My cousins will forever weirdoes”

Seungwan smack Seulgi head “You’re weirdo too!” he whine

“I’m not” Seulgi shrugged his shoulder

“Seul, your personal assistant that your appa said will arrive today, isn’t it?” Seungwan change topic

“Is it today? I totally forgot” Seulgi looked clueless

“Yep, she suppose to be here today”

“Okay then”

“Do you see her picture already?” Seungwan asked again

“Not yet, have you?”

Seungwan nods his head “She is really beautiful. A goddess”

Seulgi chuckle “You’re not exaggerating, don’t you?”

“Of course not, you will see later. I guess she will prettier in person. I already fall for her even just seeing her picture” Seungwan said dreamily

Seulgi nudging his cousin then giggle “I hope so”

Joohyun keep checking her phone to make sure she is not late to report her duty. She arrived in front of the building 5 minutes before the appointed time. She suppose to be there at 9 but she make it a little bit early

“Oho, the main building is gorgeous than the branch itself. What a luck, Joohyun” she said while look up to see the whole building

Then she take a breath before walk inside “Way to go Joohyun!” she mentally cheer for herself

With cool step, she head inside the building of Wonder-K. She greeted by the security guard at the main entrance and they show her the direction to elevator. She thanks them for their kindness. She also noticed that some eyes staring at her but she doesn’t mind them. She used to people staring at her thought. It is not something new to her

“HR Department…level 5” she press the button and elevator start to move up

When she arrived at 5th floor, she walked to the front desk. The female staff is busy tapping her PC keyboard and don’t realized Joohyun presence

“Excuse me ma’am” Joohyun speak politely

The girl turns to Joohyun and smile. Joohyun manage to read her nametag, her name is Kim Namjoo

“Yes ma’am, welcome to HR department of WK. What can I do for you?” Namjoo still flashing friendly smile

“I am Bae Joohyun. I suppose to meet with Mr. Kim Heechul at 9 AM” Joohyun said

Namjoo checking the appointment list then she look at Joohyun again “Oh you’re the PA of Mr. Kang, isn’t it?”

“Yes, I am”

“Let me show you Mr. Kim’s room”

“Okay”

They walk to other side of the office where Mr. Kim office located. Namjoo knocked the door and they got green light to enter

“Mr. Kim, Ms. Bae is arrive”

Kim Heechul stand up to greet Joohyun “Come in Ms. Bae” he said happily

Joohyun thanked Namjoo for her service before the girl leave both of them “Good morning Mr. Kim” she bow

“Good morning Ms. Bae, nice to finally meet you. I’m really waiting for your arrival”

“Nice to meet you too, Mr. Kim” said Joohyun “I’m not late, right?”

“You come on time” Heechul smile wide then he invite Joohyun to sit on the chair across to him “First of all, I would like to congratulate you for chosen as PA of our CEO. I heard the test is quite tough and you guys need mentally preparation, true?”

“Yes sir, it’s true. First test is not really hard but the final stage is a bomb. It feels like college entrance exam”

Heechul giggle “Mrs. Kang really strict in choosing staff for her son. She prefers quality over quantity. She used to do the same test for the secretary years ago and everyone acknowledge that the secretary is no joke. It’s not easy to be the right hand for our CEO and I told you that you’re the luckiest. You should proud of yourself because you passed the challenging test”

“I also not expect that I will pass the test. The other candidates also pretty good”

“That’s what we call luck”

Desk phone suddenly ringing distract their conversation. Heechul answer it then few minutes later, they hang up

“I just got a call from chairman office. He is ready to see you”

Joohyun gasped “I will meet the chairman?”

“Yes, he said he wanted to have a talk with you then he will introduce you to his son. Let’s go now”

“Okay”

“Don’t nervous. He is nice man” Heechul noticed nervousness in Joohyun voice then they head to upper level of the building

Joohyun’s tailing behind Heechul as they walk towards chairman office. She still in nervous state but try her best to look presentable.

“Good morning sir” Heechul greet the chairman then he bow politely follow by Joohyun

“Good morning Mr. Kim”

“Sir, here I brought PA of CEO Kang. Secretary Jung said you want to introduce her to CEO Kang personally”

“Yes, I have something to talk to her and CEO Kang will come in a bit”

“Alright sir, I will take a leave”

“Okay” Heechul leave both of them at the office

“Have a sit” Mr. Kang invite Joohyun to sit on the couch while he take place on the chair

“Thank you sir” Joohyun said nervously
