Dara's POV:

In every story, it usually began in light note.

Mine did not.

Or so I thought as of now.

It actually ended.

The story I was in, ended.

People call it tragedy.

But for me, I call it misfortune in all aspects in life.

The story of a famous girl who got entangled with the famous male group in one university who called themselves as F4 actually happened.

It happened.

Everyone thought it was fiction.

Which ended in a happy ever after after the struggles of both protagonists against all odds.
 
The writer made it a happy ending for she was a sad witness of the events of my life.

That girl on her story was me.

Only that, I didn't get my share of happy ending.

Shancai did. Dara didn't.

Daomingsi was happy. Jiyong wasn't.

Because Jiyong didn't make it like Daomingsi did in the story when he chose to starve himself to rebel against the strong opposition of Madame Daoming against his relationship to Shancai.

But in reality, the male protagonist died. Jiyong died while he rebelled and starved himself inside his room. 

For Madame Kwon didn't give in to Jiyong's plea the soonest. 

Then, news broke out that the only heir of Kwon Regency died inside his room. He starved himself to death.

He died because he wanted to freely love an insignificant person like me.

A person who belonged to the lowest class in the society caused the death of the mighty Kwon Jiyong.

The news left me devastated. I love him. Even by the fact that Jiyong barely have my love because of his arrogancy, still he managed to make me fall hard on him. And yet, he left me alone.

Now crying again outside the terrace of the boarding house, I curled up in the broken chair in there and watched the night sky where I gazed at the direction where he said we belonged to a certain planet. 

Mars.

Then he gifted me a necklace to signify our love. 

It was 2:00 o'clock at dawn and yet I can't sleep. I haven't had one since two month's ago. I wasn't allowed to attend his funeral because no one would let me. Even the F3 didn't fight to have me attend it. They blamed me for Jiyong's death too like madame Kwon. 

Once again, a tear escaped from my eyes before I closed them with a certain wish in my heart. Asking all those who would hear my prayers. To turn back time that I could make things right.

Then I fell asleep in there, curled up in desperation with no one to have comfort.  

Later then in day break, I woke up to a different date.

The time before I got entangled into the world of upper class through my clash of the famous F4 in Sungkyun University.

That day, I attended the school again with a drumming beats on my chest, thinking I was living in a daydream. But still, I went on with it. 

And then, I saw him again.

Kwon Jiyong.

Strutting so arrogantly in the hallway along with his best buddies, the F3.

I was shock and terrified.

I cried so hard while I ushered them with my eyes in the sideline.

A chance.

I was given a chance.

My prayers are answered!

I sobbed loudly now, ignoring how the students eyed me strangely while I literally sprawled down the floor. 

He's alive!

Jiyong's alive!

That day, even though I wanted to run to his arms and bawled nonstop in there, I refrained in doing so. 

This is one chance I can't mess up with.

I can't make him go through all the struggles like last time.

I was insignificant student for two years in the university and I shall stay that way.

Even if it means killing the love for him and forgetting those moments I once had with him.

He can lead a better life now.

Without me, he will.
