Chapter 9: omg sorry this comment took me ages i was so caught up in trying to finish an app xD bUT ANYWAY IT’S OFFICIALLY HERE AND I’M GLAD TO SEE THAT THE LEGENDARY DUO ARE BACK AND WRITING HEHEHE

love how you guys incorporated all of the girls’ povs in this prologue chapter!! really shows how different their personalities are. i can’t wait to see more of their dynamics and how their rs will progress over the years!! (esp areum ngl cause she ain’t exactly Miss Congeniality rn LMAO)

it’s so cool how jang mi and jiyeon are the extroverts of the group, yet they’re also so different? jang mi’s energy is a+ refreshing. honestly idt i’ve ever met someone quite like her but i’d def love to! i want some of that optimism and lack of worry since being a pessimist and constantly overthinking is tiring af xD but then again it’s like she has yet to receive a cold splash of reality and it’ll be hard for her when she finally does ;; meanwhile, jiyeon seems more mature than jang mi? like she’s already had her cold splash of reality and is just tryna live her best life because of it? 99.9% sure it’s because of the hellish kpop training. i swear these companies take training to the extremes ;n; also jiyeon knowing everything about everyone is both Impressive and Scary,,, teach me ur ways

also side-note i relate to jang mi having a hard time putting faces to names kadjfhsdk i kid u not i had the characters page open on a separate tab while reading this cause i legit dk who's who except for the main 4. and i’m pretty sure i still won’t be familiar with everyone’s faces even if we’re halfway through considering how many characters there are and how bad my memory is xD

and then we have our more introverted charas, bodeum and areum. bodeum seems a little timid but is also an absolute sweetheart <3____<3 i relate so much with her trying to figure things out and it'll be so fulfilling when she finally does! but i’m also kinda iffy about her boyfriend not texting her a happy birthday, like it shouldn’t be that difficult nor time-consuming??? >.< then there’s areum who isn’t necessarily shy but simply chooses to keep to herself. and it seems she’s got everything figured out! but too much of something is never a good thing. like,,, 7 classes AND a part-time job? not even taking into account the clubs and organizations i’m *sure* she’ll be signing up for? bb i’m concerned that’s social suicide >.< and she’s setting herself up for so much stress omg, jiyeon go and take her out for a drink! it’s just the first day and i already want to see her loosen up :'(

Chapter 9: Okay, not doing a super long comment because still a bit brain-fried from grading, but I finally have time to read this masterpiece!! :D

Okay, Bodeum is super relatable insofar as the "I have no clue what I'm doing and everyone else seems to have it together LSHKALSH" xD Even being one of those people who went straight into their preferred major I remember always thinking everyone else seemed to have things way more under control and be way more mature that I was OTL It's awesome she clicked wither her roommates so quickly though! Having good people around, especially first year, is *so* important, so I'm really happy for her ^^ Also she should dump her boyfriend. I know nothing about him, but he's a jerk and I don't like him and Bodeum deserves better xD

Jang Mi, on the other had, seems like someone who's inevitably going to be smacked with reality over the course of the story - final exams leave even the most optimistic and energetic of folks barely functional OTL I love Soomi though! That's a friendship I really hope to see last, though anything can happen during university, when everyone is really growing and having to find themselves - it's definitely possible for them to drift, but I'm gonna be sad if that happens ;;

I have no idea of either Jiyeon or Dahni's ualities, but until there's confirmation one way or another I'm gonna ship them xD So true about there not being enough women in the sciences - I imagine it's even worse in SK where gender roles are a lot more enforced >~< Jiyeon seems like she's gonna be the chill one of the group though - if Bodeum is the borderline introvert and Jang Mi is the extrovert, Jiyeon seems like the borderline Extroverted one. I wonder if Areum will be the introvert? It would explain why they all match so well if she is!

YUP, she's the extreme introvert xD Oof though, that is not a healthy mindset to have at the start of the year OTL Perfectionism just kills you in the long run Areum :( But that is awesome luck getting that offer during orientation! Hats off to you Ms. Areum, for successfully networking - I'm still figuring out how that works and I've been graduated for an entire year now xD I'm really interested to see where Areum's story goes - of the three she seems to be the one who, while she's building up a network, isn't developing a support group, and if she crashes and burns I'm not sure how well she'll be able to recover from it...

All that to say that I'm HYPE for this journey :D And the graphic is so gorgeous alskdhflashd <3 <3 <3

Chapter 9: i read it a few days ago but, only now finally finding time to comment. there's already so much going on even though, it's the prologue. what a coincidence, it's bodeum's birthday on the first day she meets her new roomies. great surprise to see certain characters interact already. i had forgotten some had the same majors. i love the four interactions already, jiyeon and jangmi quickly go from one topic to the other, areum shaking her head at the pace and bodeum trying to keep up. i didn't expect danhi and jiyeon's interaction but they surprisingly get along very well and seem to have things in common. jangmi and mingyu are also very interesting they're like siblings annoying each other. and areum of course i'm not surprised she already networking and taking detailed notes. she has prepared for everything before hand but she'll be devastated cause life is great at throwing unexpected things our way.

i really like that you guys wrote the different membership training and orientation of their majors. from the beginning, the four are very different type of freshmen in university. bodeum is someone who is going figure herself out and explore in her time uni. jangmi is very fascinated by the big city and is enjoying her life away from home and making new friends. jiyeon is the student who is very sociable, she enjoys life, parties, people. areum is someone whose only focus is the academic part of uni. this kinda reminds me of my freshmen year. i was and still kind of a mixture of bodeum and areum (even though that seems like a polar opposite mix). i had no idea what i was doing but still determined make the best out of my academics.
