You Got Me
Description
She wasn’t his.
But it already was kind of like that.
Everything was always easy to him; he was always the fuss free type of person.
Most of the time, he knew what he wanted.
Hopefully, she’ll want him too.
“Come on, you got me.”
“So, you don’t have to worry.”
“What do you mean? You’re literally going out with me, well, in their heads, you are.”
“Maybe, I don’t want to lose her. Maybe I want her stay. Maybe, I want her to want me too.”
She would never become anyone’s.
But it was already kind of like that.
However, things were always black and white for her, as it should be.
She never had issues when it came to her personal life or "dating", not until him.
He was gray, and it confused her.
“It wasn’t supposed to be like this. This isn’t me.”
“It’s a weakness, this whole thing would become my weakness.”
“I like you, but I can’t afford to lose to them.”
“Feelings, they’ve always been complicated for me.”
Foreword
“I said that you make it go away.”
“But I did!”
“You added flames to the fire.”
“Come on, it’s not that bad. Just pretend you’re in love with my cousin.”
This was the very conversation that started it all. One crazy idea by her friend, and it had grown into a full-blown lie. The same idea that would all put them on a tight spot.
His usual reply would have a been a no. It was after all, a crazy idea. But somehow, he put himself right in the middle of it all. Now, he was also living the full-blown lie.
“She’s messed you up good, huh?”
“I like it.”
“It won’t be easy.”
“All I want to do is see her, she doesn’t have to do or say anything.”
