1 Age is more than just a number
I Will Never Date a Dongsaeng!"Noona, do you have a date for our cousin's wedding? I'm intending to bring Ten."
My younger brother Taeyong asks me curiously and I sigh. I was happy being single, but times like these when a plus-one was needed made me feel extremely lacking and undesirable.
Taeyong wraps a comforting arm over me. "You're too picky," He nags, "You need to settle down someday, noona, stop breaking hearts."
I shake my head incredulously. "I don't break hearts, what are you talking about?"
He waggles a finger at me. "All of my friends, you're not interested in them!"
My nose wrinkles up at the thought of his friends. "Don't remind me," I murmur darkly. "Every friend of yours is a baby compared to your noona, Taeyong-ah."
Taeyong sighs despondently. "Why is age a factor?" He an eyebrow at me. "As in you can see, I'm dating a male."
I run a hand through my hair, vexed. "True, but it's my personal preference... I am uncomfortable with dating a boy younger than me."
"Why though?"
Why? There are so many reasons why.
"Women age faster biologically. I'll hit menopause before you hit puberty." I retort sarcastically.
"Objectively, women have a longer life expectancy so shouldn't you be marrying someone younger?" Taeyong asks innocently.
I lucked out since unlike most younger brothers, mine is a complete angel who is mature for his age but times like these, I feel like asking him to get off my back and stop annoying me.
