“Hee-Young-ah~ did you say thank you to Chanyeol ahjussi for making you hot cocoa?” I asked her while I carried her on my arms and walked back to our apartment. Hee-Young nodded her head and smiled widely, “The tall ahjussi is really funny, eomma. And also, he has such big ears, like Yodaaaa~” I chuckled lightly as I pinched her nose gently, “Hee-Young, remember what eomma told you? You should be respectful towards elder, arraseo?” Hee-Young nods her head, “I remember, eomma. Are you going to start working at a tall and short ahjussi cafe?” I hummed in response, “Will Hee-Young be a good girl in school, when eomma is working at the cafe?” She nods her head as she puts her hands around my neck and buries her head in my neck, “Hee-Young promises eomma to always be a good… kid” I noticed that she just yawned and tried to stay awake. I patted her back gently, and kissed her cheek, “Sleep my baby. Eomma will carry you all the way to our home.” She nodded her head before closing her eyes and fell into a deep sleep. She must be quite tired as I woke her up quite early today to come to the cafe. I stopped for a little bit as I looked up to the sky, before I continued to walk towards our apartment. I hoped that I made the right decision, even though eomma told me not to find any job, as her business has been doing well. But I don’t want to burden her too much, as my dad, the alpha male, left my mom when he found out that my status is not an alpha, but an omega. To be honest, it’s a very rare case that an alpha male and female given birth to an omega child, but I’m one of the million cases.

My mom came from a high status family, it’s just that, her parents decided to abandon her, ever since my parents got divorced and she walked away to start over from the beginning for her business in the travel industry with the connections that she has made since young till now. When I reached home, I laid her gently on her bed and caressed her hair gently. She has grown up to be a beautiful angel, no matter how much she tries to be mature, I really hope that she could be a child too, as I know she always says no to all the crowded areas, when I asked her if she wanted to go to zoo, amusement park, even the festival. She might have noticed how I act when I am surrounded in crowded areas. “Uri cheonsa, eomma will try the very best to slowly overcome my fear. And also, eomma will always protect you from any dangers and will teach you to become a brave woman no matter what status that you will be getting later on.” I said softly while I kissed her forehead softly.

Before I wanted to get out of the room, I looked at the picture frame that is placed next to the bedside table. “Eomma will always wish that you could spread your wings and lift your head up high, not to be arrogant, but to be kind to everyone and know when to help others as well. No matter how much this society can be worse at one point.” I muttered softly, before heading to the kitchen to cook for our lunch.
