Chapter 1: This fic is a blessing to me after a long stressful work week!!

Some days back I have been thinking: maybe Yiyang already knew the result so she just kept smiling for Xiening at the end of the show. That had me prepared for that first part! (Though it still stings my heart ya’know) I really want to talk more about what my thoughts have been saying those days, omg.

I also remembered that interview where Yiyang said she already accepted her fate, but then when she saw Xiening cry so hard her eyes started to tear up as well.

Xiening surely had a lot going on in her mind the moment she knew Yiyang wasn’t able to debut with her. Won’t name them all, but we know how Xiening’s heart ached for sure. :’(

Sure does feel so magical reading something in Yiyang’s perspective. But I can imagine this can really be how she speaks her mind if she’s not so shy.

Chapter 1: So.... First of all, the fic is really closed to reality as we thought, especially the part where Tao told Yiyang about the result beforehand. And if that actually happened, Yiyang irl would do the same thing as Yiyang in this fic did.... And the song ”Our Tomorrow,” it will be another ITNW kind the song again... Too painful for Yixie fans to listen again Because it hit so close to home



Also, as I expected about Xiening's reaction, I mean, she wasn't much devasted than we saw on the show, but I could imagine that what she talked while sobbing in Yiyang’s hug that night....



This sentence: ”On July 4, 2020, Xu Yiyang congratulates Liu Xiening on her debut.” - somehow from this sentence, I can feel the happy and sad tone at the same time.... I don't know how to describe my exact feeling for this sentence. But this sentence is the one that stabs to my heart the most.
