Preface
“Give it to me!” 10-year-old Haemi demanded her birthday gift to be handed over. Her cheeky neighbor knew of Haemi’s lack of patience, opening the doors for him to on a daily basis. Sehun hid the gift box behind his back, refusing to give it to her until the very end.
“Not yet,” he grinned, the look on her face cracked him up instantly. Sehun held on to his abdomen from laughing too hard as she continued to complain incoherently in the background. They put their bickering on hold once the pair spotted their parents coming over. The girl quickly ran over to her mother, whereas Sehun stood back without even greeting his own father.
“Where did you go with Mr. Oh?” Haemi asked, her short arms circling around her mother’s waist.

“This is so stupid,” Haemi cursed under her breath. She received a text message from her boss, with an address attached to it. Apparently, her assigned author wanted her to pick up his new drafts at this address. As if she had all the time in the world to be ordered around like this, at least she would be paid overtime. But was it worth it though, she wondered.
“Where the hell is it??”
The way her navigation app could not pinpoint the exact location irked her tremendously. She probably wasted a good 10 minutes on foot, trying to locate this place. To make things more complicated, the busy downtown was exceptionally crowded on the weekends. Haemi took in another gulp of air to ease her frustration. She tried punching in the address again on her phone web browser with the same results shown. Multiple restaurants, entertainment spots, and so forth popped up, pushing her to finally realize that all of these places must exist in the same complex. But which one of these locations did Sehun wanted her to meet him…
“Pick up, pick up,” the girl tapped her foot on the ground anxiously, awaiting for her boss to answer. This would be her 3rd time trying to reach the man. Again, the call was sent to voicemail.
From a distance, a very amused spectator had been watching her struggle her way around the area. Sehun rolled down his car window to catch a better view of the girl. The way her cropped top naturally invited his pair of eyes over to the little midriff exposure, a favorite feature of his. The writer clicked his tongue, his lips began to curl up into a satisfying smirk. What a tease, he thought to himself. Sehun finally made up his mind to get out of the car after having his fair share of fun with the clueless girl. To make sure that his presence could only be acknowledged by Haemi, the popular author slipped on his cap in order to hide his appearance. He trudged towards her from behind, grasping the perfect opportunity to toy around with his new editor a little more.
“Looking for me?” Sehun glided his fingers along the back of her slightly exposed midriff. The surprise contact caused Haemi to swing her handbag at the perpetrator out of reflex, to which he skillfully caught in defense. The playful writer brought a finger up to his lips to warn her about the busy crowd, filled with his potential fans.
“You-“ she barely managed to let out a single word before Sehun pulled the girl along with him. The entered a hotel that Haemi had been circling around since she arrived at the address, putting together the last piece of her puzzle. This whole time, he could’ve just sent her the name of the hotel, but instead caused her great distress to track down a bu
