Description

An OT12 IZ*ONE AU centered on the pandemic.

Sakura is a CEO who had business meeting overseas, but must fly back home immediately because of the impending travel ban. Eunbi, her wife, is left in the care of her mother-in-law, Sasshi, taking care of their children, Wonyoung, Yujin, and Hitomi.

Chaewon is Eunbi's sister who among thousands of employees, lost her job because of their company closing down due to insufficient profit.

Yabuki Nako is a teacher that must adjust to the drastic changes education is facing due to the continuous suspension of classes.

Kang Hyewon is a reporter assigned to cover COVID-19 news, while Lee Chaeyeon, a chef, has her restaurant closed indefinitely because of quarantine measures.

Kim Minjoo is a government employee packed up in work as she helps the city maintain in order.

Jo Yuri and Choi Yena are doctors who are closely working on the virus as they treat patients. They must overcome a challenge that is yet to come.

Foreword

Hey guys, it's me again with another story. With the pandemic going on lately, I figured I could write something that is relevant in our time today, and that could also give hope to everyone. I sincerely thank Gumgumtara-san for encouraging me to push on with this. You should also check out author-nim's latest completed work, QUARANTINE. It's a great story and timely at this moment.

A little TMI. I was contemplating into which country I would set this in. It'd most probably be Korea, but then I also would like to convey how it is in my country, so I decided I should go with my home, Philippines, as its setting. I know it's kind of unusual since their names are in Korean and Japanese, but more than the name, I hope you would all pay attention to the story and its message. I will try my best to convey this story and the message very well!

As the chapters go by, I hope everyone is safe, doing well, and also, looking forward for better days ahead \(◕◡◕)/

I like how the research you have done make this story more real and vivid. The mask-wearing and taking a bath before a hug (also losing one's job, classes suspended, restaurants closed etc) are very much our daily life now and I defiantly empathize it.

Your title "Better Days Ahead" is ironic or a prayer hopeing our sufferings will end soon?

This will be an important story to record/reflect how our lives have been affected by the pandemic AS WELL AS stupid governments' handling, but nice and warm in the form of a fanfic.
