Chapter 3
Late Night TteokbokkiSiyeon's POV
ugh what's taking so long Siyeon thought as she knocked for the third time on Bora's door.
She recalled the small figure that answered the night before and she couldn't help but hope that it would be her again.
what are you thinking Siyeon? She's pretty and probably wants nothing to do with you. She answers the door because she ordered food, nothing more, this will be nothing more.
Siyeon sighed as she looked at the steamy tteokbokki when the door freaked open, Bora still hiding behind it rubbing her temple.
3rd Person POV
"I'm sorry, I fell asleep" Bora said as she stared into Siyeon's eyes.
Siyeon chuckled slightly
"Haha that's quite alright, I understand it's late and you've probably had a long night" Siyeon said as she fumbled for the receipt
"Oh, no not really, but I finally had some time to myself and to rest" Bora said happily as she signed the receipt
"Oh I see, may I ask what you do?...Kim Bora" She said hesitantly as she read the receipt signature
Bora laughed slightly before stepping outside the door to reveal her run down self to Siyeon.
"I'm a photographer for Happyface Ent, I mainly work with Dreamcatcher." Bora said as she took her food from Siyeon
"What a nice job! You must be good at photography" Siyeon said as she fiddled with her fingers
"I guess so" Bora said as she looked towards the floor
"It just get's so repetitive and lonely?" She said to herself unsure of her thoughts, completely forgetting that she was talking to someone who was basically a complete stranger to her.
Siyeon was at a loss for words, hearing the emptiness and sadness in Bora's voice hurt her more than she expected. She wanted to do everything to help Bora, whatever it may be.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm here for you if you need anything" Siyeon said softly causing Bora to look up.
"Thank you, Siyeon, it means a lot" Bora said adjusting the food in her hands.
Bora paused as she thought about her next words carefully...
"Do you always work this late? Or?" Bora asked leaning against the doorway.
"Yeah, it's a family business and we just moved into the area, but ironically you have been the last order tonight and last night" Siyeon said chuckling after.
"Oh how lovely! Well, you make really good tteokbokki!" Bora said happily
"Well thank you, but it's actually all my dad and brother, I'm just the delivery person" Siyeon said
"However, I better get going before my dad calls-" Siyeon was cut off by her phone buzzing.
Bora looked down as Siyeon dishes her phone out of her pocket to answer it
"Siyeon have you delivered that last order yet? We need your help at the cafe" Bora could hear her dad's voice clearly through the phone
"Yeah, I'm just about to head back"
"Ok"
