Note: Rules are subject to change depending on admins' discretion and circumstances of the roleplay.
01. Proper roleplaying etiquette applies under all circumstances at all time: no god-modding, meta gaming, bubble rping, cliques, selective replying, user taunting, ooc drama, skipping emojis, speaking ill of a mun, user chasing, face chasing. If found you are responsible or suspected to be responsible for any of these listed, you will be given one single warning and you must put a stop to your act immediately. Failure to do so will result in removal.
02. Dating ban lasts for 1 month. Please be inclusive, plot, write, build your character, form all kinds of relationships before you settle down. Move-in couples are not allowed.
03. The university is located in South Korea. Students speak a mixture of languages as the school they attend is considered an international top university in the country. However, the main language used in SNS and communication within the roleplay is primarily English. Time takes place in the current modern day.
04. This is an interactive university AU. Because your muse will belong in a fraternity, you are expected to interact with members in said frat house and participate in the fraternity's events. This is not the roleplay for you if you seek 1 x 1 threads with little to no influence from your environment. Likewise, we ask you only join if you plan to be active. We are aiming for an active, warm and welcoming community for all writers.
05. Plagiarism in writing, graphics, SNS handles, etc will result in immediate removal and blacklisted.
06. TCC (Temporary character change) is not allowed. DM the admin account within the roleplay if you would like to CC (character change). Wait for the admin's approval and instructions before taking action. You must wait 1 week between each CC; we believe it is only right for you to give your face claim a chance before you decide to take up another. There are no limitations for CC but please do not abuse it.
07. Each mun is allowed 3 characters. They can not be from the same group. In order to qualify for a second or third, your character prior must have a complete bio posted. We reserve the right to deny your request if we feel the rest of your activity is not sufficient.
08. Group plots and interactions are encouraged as the culture of the roleplay revolves around being in a certain circle. However, this does not give you the right to ignore individuals purposely. Whether or not you feel muses clash IC, carry over OOC drama from another roleplay, we ask you to give everyone a chance and start things from a clean slate.
09. To replicate the realistic portray of college life, IC drama is welcome, and in fact, encouraged with full transparency and communication OOC.
10. The regular timeline is the school SNS forum where all students of all fraternities and all years have access upon successful enrollment. Treat it as a SNS platform specifically made for the school's students.
11. Activity will be measured through both SNS posts and public threads. You are required to post one SNS update per week and comment on seven others throughout the week. You are expected to welcome new people regularly and maintain public threads. The gossip forum (a feature of our roleplay) will pull IC drama or alleged IC gossip/drama from said public threads. Please be aware that some will be exaggerated or manipulated to entice IC dynamics. Pa$$w*rd is a feature or event you would like to see in the roleplay.
12. Because the concept of the RP focuses on the rivalry between the fraternities, IC drama is heavily encouraged; there will be a gossip forum where anonymous rumors are submitted by the NPC admin account. The gossip posted may be true or false. Members are encouraged to submit secrets/fabricated half-truths/half lies for them to be used on the gossip forum. The concept of this feature is meant to be taken lightly. Please do not be offended by it IC or OOC. The gossip the NPC admin account posts will come from monitoring your public threads or utilizing what you submit to the account hence it is important you maintain threads in public. While it is not against the rules to write in private threads, the culture of our roleplay calls for active and continuous public threads. Moreover, maintaining public threads will contribute to our points system which will assist the rivalry frat house concept of our AU.
13. Read through each page to choose positions, sports, and clubs for your muse. If you choose the role of a president/leadership, you are expected to put in more effort interacting/writing with members of the said respective group your muse is in leadership of. If found your muse is merely holding the title, we will revoke your position. Many club presidents create group chats for their club members. The creators or presidents are responsible for adding in the students who join their clubs. While it is not mandatory for a president to create a group chat, it will be your responsibility to add and remove students if you do choose to create one. When creating these group/group chats, both admin accounts must be added.
14. We currently only accept freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. You are welcome to adjust your face claim's age to fit your desired year. Average college student's age range from 18-23. However, there is no set age rule; you may decide entirely on your muse's background/upbringing/personality. For example, if your muse came from a family where they did not receive financial support and they had to work themselves to attend a university, they may be older in age despite their university year. Another example would be dropping out/taking a gap semester/year and enrolling again.
15. Your muse is encouraged to have an occupation outside of being a university student. However, if working and studying do not fit the background/upbringing of your muse, it is acceptable they solely remain a full time student.
16. Please DM the admin before leaving/deleting your account. It only takes a few seconds to let us know. We also ask you do not leave/delete until we have acknowledged your message. We have to repair a student for their roommate every time a person leaves so we ask you to be considerate of our work. Failure to do so will result in blacklisting.
17. Semi-hiatus and full hiatus are given after the first week of your acceptance. Semi-hiatus lasts for 2 weeks. You are expected to welcome new members and comment on other SNS posts while you are exempt posting SNS and continuing threads. Full hiatus lasts 3 weeks. Extensions for hiatus/semi-hiatus are not allowed. You also can not ask for a hiatus/semi-hiatus a few days after we announce an activity check. You are required to make a return with a SNS post once your hiatus ends. More information will be included in the hiatus form.
18. Rated and triggering topic posts on the regular timeline (school SNS forum) are not allowed. SNS posts with drinking, smoking, partying are allowed as the setting consists of college students. and culture. However, threads with triggers are allowed in all literacy groups as long as you mention the trigger warnings at the top.
19. A failed marriage or being a parent for your muse is all allowed. If your muse has a child, they must be a NPC. Marriage within the roleplay itself is allowed but it must be with someone in our community; marriage ban for 8 months.
20. Race bending is not allowed. However, you may allow your muse to take up another nationality.
21. You may not create private group chats without permission from the admin. Club group chats are allowed and in fact, encouraged. However, you must add both the Aurora Dean and Aurora NPC account. You will be given one single warning if you are found creating a group chat without the admin accounts added to it. If you need a temporary OOC group chat, you may ask the Dean to create one. Otherwise, no private group chats without monitorization of the admins will be allowed.

+ Your AFF account must be 4 months old in order to apply. If your account does not meet our standards, you may provide personal Tumblr contact that is in active use. It can not be a roleplaying account and it must be moderately active. We also require you to send us a message on Tumblr to confirm your account if you choose this route. If you are applying with your AFF account, please make sure your account is not set to private so we can check your account's creation date. Failure to do so will not be our responsibility if we do not reply back.

to enhance the rivalry concept of the fraternity houses, we operate on a points system, consisting of ic and ooc methods to earn points which will contribute to your respective frat house.
The winning members will receive IC and OOC benefits or advantages going into an event or reward which will be announced after the competition weeks end.
