Hyukjae's POV

I woke up with arms around my waist, my head under Donghae's chin. I felt a smile tug on my lips. This is how I want to wake up every morning. In Donghae's arms. I closed my eyes and snuggled closer to the man. It was still a bit dark outside so I'm guessing it's just 5am. Still enough time to cuddle with Hae.

His arms suddenly tightened around me, and his eye fluttered open,

"Hmm hyukkie? Did I wake you?" 

I smiled at my Hae, brushing strands away from that gorgeous face.

"Myeong-cheong ah. I was the one who woke you up." I said softly, savoring this moment because I knew once we step back into our respective places, I know we'll be busy again. 

Hae gave a toothless smile and huddled closer to me,

"Do we have to go to work?" He grumbled. I keep his hair, it was longer. I mentally note to get Hae to the barber's after my week shift.

"We have to baby. After a week we can do this again yeah?" I said softly. Enjoying how my baby is clinging to me tightly.

"I'll miss you." He said softly. I nodded,

"I know, Hae. I'll miss you too."

We stayed like that until I finally got up to make some decent breakfast and ordered Hae to get showered. After making some breakfast I went to my room to see Hae brushing his hair trying to figure out where to put where.

I walked up to him and helped him with his hair. "Shall I cut your hair?" I asked, finally remembering that there would be no open barbers for the rest of lockdown.

He squinted his eyes at me,

"Do you know how to cut hair?"

I chuckled before pulling on the ends of it,

"Don't you love me enough to let me experiment?"

His eyes widened and he looked literally scared,

"Anything but my hair hyukkie."

I burst out laughing before going to the bathroom to bathe.

After breakfast Hae drove me to the hospital first. A big duffel on my shoulders since I'll be having a week long duty again. He parked near the hospital entrance, and took a hold of my hands.
