"Hey stranger, can you please break my heart?" Those words rolled out your tongue in a most normal way, as if you're accustomed to ask that to every random person you meet.

However, I was not sure if it was because of your empty eyes and dry lips or I was desperate to prove something to myself. Either way I said yes, without even knowing that you don't have it in the first place.
