your breath hitches. you made it, you got in! what a feat that is, because anybody who was somebody knew that cultum was a place of grandeur, offering nothing but the finest in academics, internships, and networking. at least on the surface, that is. it was a promise to get better. 

cwu offers a myriad of majors, with small and intimate classes that aid in ensuring success and interpersonal relationships among teachers and students. with gothic architecture that stretches throughout 5,000 acres of lush green land, the remote location provides the lucky students a distraction free environment, giving them the opportunity to place more focus into their studies. the only way out of the vast campus is the direct bus line to kiyomeru, a modest town that thrives on agriculture and tourism. 

don’t celebrate too soon, though. getting accepted was the easiest part. maintaining your grades in the cut throat programs, juggling required after school activities, and hiding literal and figurative skeletons in your closet is the hard part.

what the numerous awards and achievements don’t tell you are hiding in the shadows, looming in plain sight where the staff and administration can’t touch them. they don’t tell you about the echoes of past lives mourning the walls, the reason why the rooftops are off limits, or why there’s a curfew at midnight. the only advice other students will tell you is to not look too hard into the darkness, you might find something staring back at you. 

general guidelines. 

please be sure to read our premise and plot before applying.

we are a closed group, meaning you are not allowed to roleplay with anyone outside of the directory.

this rp carries many heavy subjects such as drinking, drug use, and mentions of death, etc. because of this, we ask that you be 18 and above. 

be sure to tag all triggers that include, but are not limited to our list provided. if you have any you’d like to add, please send us a message. the admins are more than happy to answer any questions regarding potential tags, but the safe bet is if you have to ask, you’d probably better tag it regardless.

any major plot developments such as pregnancies, death, marriage, etc. must be run by the admins before any execution. we reserve the right to turn down any drastic plots if they do not fit into the group’s development.

we ask that you please make the effort to plot with everyone. bubble roleplaying will not be tolerated!

while you may plot out as much in character drama as you like, please avoid any out of character drama. if you encounter any problems with another mun, please let any admins know and we will work on a solution together. 

god modding in any form is not allowed.

because there are limited slots in the group, members are only allowed one character. *this rule might change later on depending on the status of the roleplay. 

activity guidelines.

i am sure you all know that for this roleplay to be fun, members need to be active. our activity checks will be rather lenient and will be reinforced as we see fit.

2-3 SNS posts a week would be appreciated, but threads are obviously prioritised. 

if you get a warning, you will have 24 hours to make an ic post or answer the admins, but if you fail to comply you will be removed from the group. we want to be close with our members and can definitely understand if life gets in the way! just be sure to keep us in the loop and we’ll be happy to accommodate you. keeping communication is key! 

hiatuses can last up to two weeks. if you do not return after the estimated date given, you will have 24 hours to message the main before we will be forced to reopen your role. to apply for one, message the main with the date the hiatus will start, to your return. should you need anything else, let us know. 

reserves / faceclaim guidelines.

we only allow female faceclaims. despite that, we genuinely don’t want to limit any creative facets you may have! we happily welcome characters questioning their gender or are non-binary.

all asian fcs are welcome here so long as they are . we allow the +/- 3 years rule except for those who are minors.

any form of race bending is not allowed.

banned fcs are anyone who has expressed that they do not want to be roleplayed, are deceased, or involved in any crime or scandal. 

reservations last for 2 days. you are allowed two extensions after that, both of which last for 24 hours.

when reserving, please send us the name/stage name, occupation, and the canon you wish to take. any reserves made anonymously (on tumblr) must include a password. if you have any other information ready, such as your muse name or the club role you would like to have, send that in too! be sure to check our masterlist and reserve tag before sending anything in! 

being that we are an au group, your muses cannot have the same name or background as your faceclaims.

if you would like to reserve a faceclaim and canon before applying please leave us a comment in the following style: “i would like to reserve FACECLAIM of GROUP / OCCUPATION for CANON X.” after your reserve has been accepted you will have 24 hours to fill out the application. if you fail to do so, the faceclaim will be freed up once more. the password part in the application is if you have reserved anonymously. 

you do not need to reserve, you can also just quickly fill out the app for your character if you have already made up your mind.
