“Welcome home.” She greeted him when he arrived in their apartment. 

She pecked a kiss on his lips and he complied. “Tired?” she asked. 

“Yeah. A bit.” He answered without any enthusiasm. 

“Let me prepare you some soup and we’ll eat. Take a shower for now. I’ll be done in 10.” she prompted. She knows that the “a bit” is actually like a tip of the iceberg kind of “a bit”. 

But he isn’t tired because of his job in YG Music. He’s emotionally drained. He feels guilty and sad because the once “home” he calls is now nothing but a shell of what it’s supposed to be.

In the middle of the night, he received a text telling him there’s an issue with his recorded music. He lightly removed the arm that’s wrapped around his waist. She woke up. 

“I’ve been called in the studio. Recording issues. I’ll be back later.” He informed.

“Mmm.” the girl replied still sleepy. Then he kissed the girl in the cheek. 

He got up and carried his bag out in his car. 

He parked on his usual slot in their office parking lot. Then changed to another car, a low-key one and drove off to who knows where.
