Aera's POV

“You Jung Jaehyun, are amazing. Amazing. I owe you. I’ll literally do anything for you,” I sighed.

He wiggled his eyebrows. “Anything?”

“Anything. Just name it.”

Jaehyun placed his head in his hands and leaned towards me, smirking. “Just don’t forget me when you’re famous, ok?”

I agreed wholeheartedly and playfully swatted at him, walking away to turn in the homework he completed for me. 

How could I ever forget him? 

Jaehyun's POV

The second I laid my eyes on her, I wanted to grab her and hold her in my arms. I wanted to tell her how much I’ve missed her and how much pain I’ve been feeling without her. The pain of losing her and the pain of being without her.

My heart aches as I remind myself she has no recollection of me. Our years and years of cherished memories are lost to her. Nonexistent. Every promise, every ‘I love you’, every touch. They’re all gone.

I take a deep breath and remind myself, it’s better if she doesn’t remember.
