Running Man Episode 457 Shoot: June 2019

Jong Kook was grinning from ear to ear as he walked towards the Running Man shooting sight. Having arrived from LA just a few nights ago, he still remembered all the fun and other things he had with Yeseul. Having a girlfriend in his life never felt better! 

Before the shooting actually began, Jong Kook went to the meeting room where the cast members met up for planning or socializing. When he got there, Jaesuk, Sukjin, Haha, and Sechan were already there.

"Hey, guys," Jong Kook greeted everybody. "How's everybody doing?"

"We're doing well. How about you? Had fun in LA?" Sukjin asked teasingly. Jong Kook cleared his throat. "I did. Why?"

All the other cast members in the room grinned at each other before looking at him. "Well, while you were in LA, there was a picture of a man circulating through online that looked a lot like you,"

"You do realize that there are hundreds of people who look similar to me? That's not new," The singer sighed, not before Sechan took out his phone and showed a picture of him carrying Yeseul on his back. He couldn't see Yeseul's face in the picture because of his head. But Jong Kook was sure that was exactly him because of the swimming clothes he wore that day. 

"I just have one question. Who's my sister-in-law?" Haha laughed, wrapping his arm around Jong Kook's shoulder. 

"Wait, is that really you, hyung?" Sechan asked, and Jong Kook just ignored him. He didn't think that people would take pictures of him at the beach; perhaps he was lucky that Yeseul was hidden in the pic. 

Then Somin and Jihyo entered the room quietly. 

"There you two are. Why are you too so late?" Sukjin scolded. 

"Sorry, but we had to take care of something," Somin spoke as she and Jihyo sat around them. Specifically, Jihyo sat next to Jong Kook, unnaturally quiet. Jong Kook recognized this and looked at Jihyo. She looked rather tense and stressed, which made him worried. 

"Jihyo, are you okay?" He asked her, and she seemed to jump at his voice. 

"Yes, I'm fine, Oppa. Don't worry," She gave him a smile that he knew was fake, which made his worry increase. "Actually, can we talk after the shoot? There's something I need to talk to you about,"

Jong Kook nodded. "Sure. Oh, and I'm sorry I missed your calls,"

Jihyo smiled. "It's okay. I'm sure that you were busy working out as usual."

Well, a different kind of working out than usual...Jong Kook nearly blushed, remember what he was doing exactly when he missed those calls. But Jihyo didn't need to know that. "Yeah, we'll catch up."

"Yah, where is this Kwangsoo?" Jaesuk, ever the leader, sighed. "He's later than usual."

"Maybe something happened with him and Sunbin, and he's moping." Sechan shrugged. 

"Well, it's been a couple of months since he got together with her, so I wouldn't be surprised," Sukjin commented, now getting everybody's attention. "What? Don't tell me I'm the only one who's thinking this."

Just then Kwangsoo stormed into the Running Man Meeting Room with his cellphone out. "Hyung! How could you not tell us all of this!?" He yelled at Kim Jong Kook and got everybody's attention. 

"Yah. Don't shout." Jong Kook gave the Betrayer Kirin a sharp look. "What are you talking about?" He sighed. Probably it was something frivolous like always. 

"You're dating THE Han Ye Seul!?" Kwangsoo showed his phone, revealing the latest gossiping news. The article showed Kim Jong Kook and Han Ye Seul's faces with the title "Breaking New.Yeseul's Agency Reveals: Kim Jong Kook and Han Ye Seul Are Officially Dating!"

The room was frozen for a secon and then pretty much exploded as Jong Kook buried his face in his hands. 

"Ya, Jong Kook-Ah!" Suk Jin grabbed Jong Kook's shoulder. "Why didn't you tell us?! "

"I guess she really meant it when she said you were her ideal guy!" Jaesuk smiled, remembering the episode of My Little Old Boy where she said that her ideal was Sparta himself. 

Kwangsoo began to read the article, and everybody was silent. "Han Ye Seul's agency reveals that she and Kim Jong Kook has been dating since March?! Hyung, you've been dating her for the last 3 months and you didn't tell us!?"

"What?" Let me read this!" Sechan screamed and took his phone. "Yeseul's spokesperson further reveals that the happy couple has gone to many dates abroad, including LA, where they went to the Justice League Premiere. Daebak! Here are the photos!!!" He showed everyone pictures of Jong Kook and Yeseul in their best suit and dress, taking pictures. Some of the photes were with the cast of Justice League, including Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, and others. "You never told me you went to its premiere!!!"

"And three months! You didn't tell us. Why, Hyung!?" Kwangsoo grabbed Jong Kook's shirt. 

"Yah, gmanhe!" Jong Kook slapped his hands away.

"It doesn't matter if you hid it from us. You are so lucky, Hyungnim!" Sechan screamed with delight, got up, and bowed 90 degrees. "You're so lucky dating a goddess like her!!! You're my forever Hyungnim!"

"I'm so proud of you too, Hyung!" Haha punched the air with victory, actually crying in joy. "My Hyung is no longer single!"

"Guess she wanted to reveal everything right way..." Jong Kook muttered, remembering his previous meeting with his now-public girlfriend a few days ago.

Flashback (A few days ago back in LA)

Jong Kook and Yeseul were sitting on the sofa at her place in LA. They had to go back to Korea early tomorrow, so they just stayed at her place, just resting. 

"Jong Kook-oppa?" Yeseul asked, leaning into him as they were sitting on a sofa.

"Hmm?" Jong Kook turned to his girlfriend. 

"When can we make our relationship official?" Yeseul asked, getting a surprised look from him.

"Do you want to already?" The singer raised an eyebrow. Up until now, his girlfriend didn't show any indication that she wanted to go public. In fact, since becoming a couple in Busan, it seemed too early to really expose their relationship to the public. 

"Well, I can't say that I'm happy when I see this." The actress pulled out her phone and showed her boyfriend an article of Jong Kook and Hong Jin Young from the latest Running Man and Mom's Diary episodes. "All of these articles and comments saying that you and she are so good together?"

"You know those articles are just clickbait." Her boyfriend sighed. His being partnered up with some female idol every month shouldn't be a surprise to him at this point. 

"Well, I still don't like them." Yeseul pouted. She knew that her boyfriend was popular; that came with being a celebrity. No, that was an understatement. If there were surveys of Top 5 Most Eligible Bachelors in Korea, Jong Kook would appear in all of them. What's more, his pairing in multiple TV shows with other women, especially female idols who were at least 10 years younger than either of them was didn't help the actress's concerns. "How would you feel if a man touched me as Jinyoung touched you?"

"That man won't have hands anymore." Jong Kook grunted, earning Yeseul's giggle and a poke on his cheek. "Like I said before, I intended to reveal any relationship when I was going to get married."

"And you haven't changed your mind?" Yeseul asked.

"Don't let those articles bother you, Yeseul-ah." Jong wrapped his arm around her shoulder. In turn, his girlfriend leaned into his warm, firm body, sighting.

"I know better than anyone about this media nonsense, oppa. I had so much nonsense said about me that I gave up trying to control it," The actress whispered. "But this time, it's different. Maybe it's because I'm
