how the hell was this kid on their team? hyukjae had been in the room for all of two seconds when a bucket of muddy water, likely placed there by resident prankster kim heechul or devil incarnate cho kyuhyun, toppled over the edge of the door, and landed straight on hyukjae’s head, causing the newcomer, now disoriented and bumbling around, to skid across the still wet floor that disney princess kim ryeowook had asked a flock of bluejays to help him mop (how? no one knows), and somehow get caught on henry’s bow, knocked backwards into youngwoon’s old punching bag, and consequently ricocheted off into the dumpster down the hall.

sungmin, having returned from his brief grocery shopping excursion, blinked owlishly as the rest of the group ran off to help the impossibly clumsy newcomer before walking to the kitchen to put away the groceries.

donghae and siwon hung back, exchanging dull, unimpressed glances and raised eyebrows. “you sure this kid can help out in a battle?” donghae inquired skeptically, addressing heechul who was doubled over in laughter and clutching at his stomach. “he can’t even walk three steps without knocking himself out.”

“don’t assume, dear donghae,” jungsoo, stepping out of his office, chided softly with a strange smile on his face and a glassy look in his eyes. “the new addition is our blessing in disguise. the huai-ji-yi won’t know what hit them.”

idk what this is.. um. but basically, it's the superpowered super junior au that no one asked for, but i decided to write anyway.
