Description

Five years ago, Sunggyu loved someone so much it drove her away.

I waited four years to tell you how I felt and when I finally did, you disappeared.

Jang Haemi could not decide what it was, or when it started but she could not tear her eyes off Kim Sunggyu. Sitting across the room, he beamed his megawatt smile and Haemi's body shrugged involuntarily. She turned her head away, irritated at the tightness growing in her chest. 'He is Kim Sunggyu,' she told herself. They knew each other for years. They were not friends. They just happened to be in the same class for four consecutive years. They knew each other's names, who they hang out with but that's about it. No private conversion, never. His crowd was just not the type Haemi would hang out with.
Sunggyu had always been popular and with that, he had popular friends. Together they dominated classrooms, hallways, and mess halls with a posse of girls. She never hated those girls but she  never understood the fascination. Sunggyu was just Sunggyu with his good enough smile, smooth hair, and eyes so small they seemed to be added to his face at a last-minute decision. He had nice shoulders, though.
"Haemi-yah," Sunggyu called suddenly from across the room. "What are we doing for the end of the year?"
Haemi pretended not to hear. Sunggyu was talking about "the" vacation.  At the end of every seniors year, the school organised a vacation where everyone for hangout overnight. Haemi believed that it's their school's cruel way to get back at them for all the troubles and a final weed-out. Imagine a school organising a vacation to get their students pregnant.

"I told you to leave it to me." Sunggyu materialized next to her desk. She withdrew her hands to her lap and tried to look up at him but her eyes could not go any further than his shoulder blade.
"I have everything planned out."
She felt like the entire class' attention was on them. That had always been the case with Sunggyu, he's like a beacon that everyone seemed to be drawn to, but Haemi had always been just at the periphery of it.
The bell rang pulling everyone's attention from them  as they hurried out for lunch. Haemi took the opportunity to shrug Sunggyu off but as she was sidestepping to pass him, she felt his body shift towards her and whispered.
"Don't you trust me?"
Haemi planned to ignore him but there was a quality in his voice that made her stop  dead on her tracks and look back at him, confusion etched on her face.
Sunggyu turned his head in an angle so only Haemi could see the look on his face, "I told you to trust me, didn't I? Jang Haemi."

Foreword

This is to let out my frustration for thirsting on Sunggyu's shoulders because I have never seen ier shoulders in my life. I may not ever going to update this. I always start a story and never finish because I need validation. I hope you comment and subscribe so I can get motivated to finish this. Thank you!!!

Edit: I WILL update this because I had a massive idea. This was supposed to be a fluff but I guess not anymore.
