Irene

"Alright that's a wrap for today! Thank you for your hard work everyone I'll see you next month!" I let out a sigh of relief at the thought of getting to relax mentally and physically for the upcoming month. Modeling isn't as easy as it seems. It's not like you show up, walk down the runway, pose, and call it a day. In my case, I'm one of the top models in the nation and my schedules are usually packed to the point where I don't get to visit my parents whenever I'd like. On days like today, I just go to work and shoot some photos for high ended clothing brands, which is a tiring process due to the fact that I have to change into different wardrobes every half hour along with my make-up. Other days, I'm walking down the runway in Europe or New York. Oh, and there's fashion week which I hate the most. Don't get me started.

Although I complain, I actually enjoy what I do. Sometimes I just wish my schedule was more lenient so I get to meet up with family and friends as well as some time for myself.

"Joohyun-ah," I heard a voice call for me and turned around to find my manager frantically running towards me as she handed me my phone. "It's your mom. She wishes to talk to you."

"Umma?" I excused myself to the dressing room and settled down on one of the couches.

"Joohyun-ah, you're starting your holiday as of today right? Why don't you come join your father and I for the weekend and have some bonding time with us." I smiled at the thought of getting to actually spend time with my parents again. Last time I visited them, I only get to talk to them briefly until Mrs. Song came and joined us for dinner. She's a close friend of my mom's and they had alot of catching up to do so it'd be wrong if I got upset over something like that.

"Okay umma. Let me just head back to my apartment and pack a few things. I'll see you both tonight."

"Don't be late! I'm cooking your favorite kimchi jjigae so you better hurry before it gets cold." I grabbed my belongings before heading out the studio to see my manager had already parked my A6 2017 Audi in front of the building. Yes, I know what you're thinking. I'm a model making nearly 6 figures but I can't afford the latest sports car? It's not that I can't, it just that I refuse to. It's a car and as long as I have a working car that can take me from point A to point B, that's all that matters. Thankfully the drive wasn't longer than I thought it'd be due to traffic but I managed to make it home within half and hour. Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted by Mina, the front desk worker in my apartment complex whom I befriended when I first moved in.

"Looks like you got more letters from that secret admirer of yours Joohyun," she smiled ear to ear before handing me yet another pink envelope along with a bouquet of roses. This has been going on for a month and I have yet to figure out who my secret admirer was. A fan maybe? A past high school crush? "Do you think he'll turn up eventually? I'm curious who this lucky guy might be."

"Don't talk nonsense Mina. Even if it was a hunky guy, I'd tell him to go after you. You're pretty, friendly, and you're girlfriend material. I for one am not interested. Plus I'm tired of watering these flowers all the time. Why don't you take them home?" I offered, pushing the bouquet towards the petite girl.

"It's yours you should keep them. I'm not a fan of flowers either."

"Well next time, just hand the flowers to the next guest who comes and tell them it's complimentary." I bid the girl goodbye before hurrying to my apartment. It was empty as usual which was how I liked it. Not only was the room spacious but what had me love this apartment more was the wide window that allowed me to get a marvelous view of Seoul's city lights. Truth to be told, I probably spend a majority of my time in the living room more than I do in my own bedroom.

I heads towards my walk-in closet and grabbed a couple of my night gowns and casual outfits before I eventually left the complex, driving to my parent's penthouse. With only a couple minutes left until I reached, I figured I stopped by a grocery store to buy a few fruits to gift to my parents since my grandmother taught me it's never polite to come to someone's house empty-handed. What can I say, grandma knows best, right? I picked out a few sweet apples and pears and placed them into my basket. Just as I turn around, a familiar face appears before me. He gave me the biggest grin and I couldn't help but smile back. "Fancy seeing you here Mr.Oh."

"I should be saying the same to you Ms. Bae Joohyun. What brings you all the way here in this part of the city?" I couldn't help but notice the way he eyed me up and down. "From the looks of it, you just got off work. Your outfit alone could buy me a building!"

"You're still the same clown I've known since high school

Chapter 3: I don't understand why would Irene ever agree to get married to a guy like him TT (I say that while Mino's my ultimate bias adkkf) I understand if Irene had the compassion to help Mino for the sake of not breaking the dying father's heart but Irene seems to be too strong-willed and powerful to be spoken to like that TT like mentioning sugar daddies and how slow she is in packing like wtf that much of disrespect- how did she just brush that away. There's got to be a reason why Irene's putting up with all this esp when she said she never wants to marry in the very beginning and I'm curious what it is! Good luck with the next chapter! Sehun save yo bestfriend!!

Chapter 1: Mino saying he's the best god has to offer made me laugh. The both of them seem to be very proud people and thus would definitely clash. I'm interested where this is going. Can't wait to hop on to chapter 2 soon. Thanks for writing!

Chapter 3: Mino seems like a jerk for someone who is getting married to make his father happy, it isn't like Joohyun's the one in need to get married. Joohyun really needs to set him straight.
