{Prologue} ~ It all went dark
I-Spy
Darkness.
Nothingness.
It made Shuhua feel empty.
She’s been here before, yet she still doesn’t know where here exactly is.
She can’t tell if her eyes are open or closed because anywhere she looks it’s just pitch black. She doesn’t know how much time has passed either...
Is this supposed to be a torture device?? Because all her pet peeves and fears seem to be occurring at once...
Just as that thought enters her head, because obviously in a place where you can’t even identify your close surroundings, it probably wouldn’t be the wisest move to speak your thoughts out loud to who or whatever might be around you. Shuhua shuddered sofetly at the creepy thought that someone could be around her and she is completely vulnerable and defenceless.
Eventually, she notices a small light, in the direction right behind her. She thinks. Well, it may have been in front of her and just appeared or she just didn’t notice it to now, her senses were too off put to tell.
The light appears as a sliver close to the ground, safe to assume it’s from a door with a lit room on the other side. Now only taking the time to pay attention to the small sounds around her, Shuhua carefully crawls her way on the floor towards the light.
Thank god, she didn’t run into any unwanted night lurkers, yeah yeah, not the most intellectual name she’s come up for unnamed identities but honestly, it’s not a situation she’s mentally built for so can you blame her??
Finally, she made it. She pauses to ponder as to what could be beyond this black pit. She hadn't given it much thought till now. Could be a worse fate, but the light makes Shuhua want to believe otherwise. Hope, otherwise.
She reaches up blindly and makes contact with the knob.
As she begins to turn it ever so slow and gently, she starts getting hints of déjà vu. Much clearer than what she thought at the start of becoming conscious in this dark, alternate dimens
