I can barely hear the beeping of a machine. The smell of the surrounding is so unfamiliar. Footsteps and sometimes the sound of people rushing their way to somewhere are heard from time to time. There are also different voices, some our angry and most of them are in agony. My left hand soars as well as some parts of my body. I tried to open my eyes but they are so heavy.

After a while, I manage to open it. The walls are painted white, almost everything is white. I recognize that I’m in a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown. The last thing I remember when I pass out is the tremendous pain I felt.

My eyes wonder around the room. Tons of fruits are in a small table. I see a bouquet. A board full of get well soon wishes. My girlfriend is also sitting right next to my bed, holding my hand. I flinched. Who is she? I don’t even have a girlfriend! Did I just call her my girlfriend? The woman started to wake up; maybe she felt the little movements I made as I gain consciousness.
