The World Through Your Eyes
Description
It is said that death marks the end; that death is the final stage of growth; that death is the ultimate goal in life. For many, death is a certainty, death leaves no space for doubt, there is no ‘and’ following death. Yet is that truly the case?
「Life is uncertain; death is certain.」
Kwon Chinsun had spent the majority of her life contemplating these words for she found nothing certain about death. Her childhood friend Kim Jongdae used to about being so obsessed with some ancient Buddhist quote, while Jongdae’s cousin Jongin would simply roll his eyes at her, not even deigning her of a verbal response. Then came Byun Baekhyun who saw no importance in those words until an unexpected encounter and incident catapulted him into a world that was all around him the whole time and yet he had no idea existed.
Foreword
I'm shifting away from the adult world of lawyers and doctors and trying out writing a supernatural story!
I've actually been binge-reading all my favourite ghost/supernatural manga and suddenly felt very inspire to write a supernatural story. This story will definitely be different and have proper, distinct story arcs.
Will start updating this once I'm done with 「O2」. Changed my mind, can't wait to start posting the chapters haha.
Please look forward to this story!
Disclaimer: I'm no expert in Buddhism or spirit stuff, so this story will be my loose interpretation of certain elements that I am familiar with. I will likely mingle up elements of Korean shamanism, Buddhism and possibly even Japanese Shintoism, so please go easy on me if you notice major indiscrepancies >.< My goal ultimately is to write an enjoyable story about adventures involving the spiritual world =]
Btw, I wrote a short story starring Yuta and Taeyong from this universe! Please go check it out if you are in search of some serious angsty bittersweet stuff haha => 「How Much Loneliness the Truth Can Cause」
Update: Thank you LUST Review Shop for the amazing review and detailed feedback =]
