"Honey, what are you reading?"

Surprised by the sudden appearance of her wife, Minjoo doesn't have enough time to hide the small book behind her. The Omega whines, wallowing in despair as her Alpha wife snatches the book from her hands.

"How to Treat Your Alpha Wife Right?" Hitomi reads off the title incredulously, her eyebrows raising high until they almost disappear behind her newly styled bangs. "You've already treated me right, honey. You don't need a self-help book for this."

Minjoo pouts, pointing her finger at the small letters hanging below the large title. Only then Hitomi release a knowing "ah" and place the book back on Minjoo's lap.

"Is this because of Asahi's visit last week?"

"...No?" Minjoo nervously trails off. She runs her fingers through her hair, her eyes straying away from Hitomi's gaze. There's a momentary pause before Minjoo sighs. "Alright fine," she says. "But please don't kill him."

"I won't," Hitomi hastily promises. "Did he say something to offend you, though?"

"No... but..." Minjoo pauses again, conflict in her eyes. "He just made me realize that... I'm not doing my best for you."

"Your efforts for me are nothing close to lacking and I really appreciate that, honey," Hitomi immediately assures, not wasting any time to sit next to Minjoo and scoot closer to her wife. "I love you. I'm very, very satisfied just by having you with me, you don't need to do your very best and I'll still love you either way
